what a diffucult coin..

est value should 0.05 btc

Botnets would dump immediately if it was that high though
Botnets already dumped many thousands even at current value. Remember that total number of coins just now is so low (~210K), and I saw dumps like 5K or even 10K - seems that botnets already dumped many coins, and they were distributed among other people

So thats could mean there is can be RIC in short, no big sellers some small who bought in this range they keep in wallets for the future there price could explode.. Even last couple days price is falling Im bullish, still buying..if there 200k coins, then i have 1% for now. My target 0.004 in the bullish cryptomarkert there could be even 0.01btc

Big things coming for Riecoin. Folks don't even know this exists yet. The launch taking place during all the Maxcoin hype has been great for early adopters of Riecoin. This is going to be the "underdog" coin of the year imo. There is hardly any coins on the exchanges and those that are there are dirt cheap. Like you said, just the weak hands. Soak them up if you can! This coin is going to be huge.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Apparently it was all a bunch of crap, the owner of the exchange doesn't have a sweet fucking clue what they are doing, or like I said, is a scammer.
"The exchange is closing please withdraw your money, I decided to reopen when the Bitcoin dev team decides to release an updated client. It seems like there wasn't any theft the wallet was reporting a false balance all this time."

Don't use this site.

What you are doing is called 'slander', how is it a scam if i lost money on this website?

I'm scamming myself? Better keep your mouth shut.

And yes we were hit with transaction malleability which screwed up our wallet real good.
As a crypto website owner and developer, who also got hit with a bunch of invalid/ modified transactions, I can tell you straight that if it affected your balances and you could not resolve it, then you shouldn't be running an exchange.  All you need to do is ignore them FFS!

Anyway, sill liking Riecoin, still holding mine from launch.  Totally agree with 6Strings sentiment, price is going to go up a lot once people get wind of this new and exciting PoW

Exactly. Glad to see he is giving folks more than 48hrs to take their stuff out now.

And very well said about Riecoin as well.

I've started to buy up a few small orders. I suggest everyone grab a few and take advantage of the weak hands before they realize what they're throwing away.

Then go on the forums, promote the coin, do the twitter, facebook thing, all that. Send emails to BTER, Cryptsy, or jump in the chat at MCX and BTCE and express your interest in having them add the coin. Ask different services to add it as well. XPM did it and I believe Riecoin can too. I believe it has more value than XPM, substantially more due to its extreme difficulty to mine.

Folks think getting 0.0001 or whatever share in a pool is a bad thing. Whats it matter the quantity or where the decimal point is??  A rare coin where a decimal place is considered valuable is much better than a coin that requires several hundreds or thousands just to meet trade minimum requirements imo.

Soak these coins up now, promote it and laugh hysterically while sailing your new yacht.....ok maybe a little to much optimism, but fuck it. Riecoin is a great coin.

For sure. Nothing wrong with closing shop if you can't make money, but you've got to give people their stuff back.

Also joining the sentiment - Get some RIC now while its cheap!

I think this site was legit. I did transaction finely and got my all money go & back.

So please say something based on proof.

Should there be a dedicated forum or venue for us to direct meaningful conversation about spreading RIC by creating services, block crawlers, etc? The subreddit is not very lively, and we need somewhere to potentially organize bounties for people willing to contribute.

There was no need for proof. Shutting down within 48hrs and disappearing would of been the proof of scam. He changed that. I never said the dude was scamming, I was saying it was a possibility based on the circumstances of the shutdown.

The site may have been "legit" but its still poorly run by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Ex. the whole bitcoin flaw claim.

Has any user of the site received an e-mail telling them the site was closing? Why is there a min withdrawal on coins still? Why am I not able to withdraw the remaining BTC I have there?

If this dude was professional all of this would of been done.

Agreed. The team behind RIC definitely needs some help in the PR and promotions dept. Not much going on there.

More contests, giveaways, promos etc.

Cmon Gatra, lets get on the go with this.

Whats your plan? What do you need help with? What direction you want to take this? We're here to help!

I'm putting together a promo video for Riecoin now, should be ready later this week. I want to share the script and get some feedback - would be a better place to discuss in a dedicated Rieforum somewhere.

I think organizing bounties is a priority for sure. I've got RIC to contribute when that gets moving.

I'd be glad to read over the script, even if it has to be here for now.

I'm willing to get a block explorer set up (along with a static page of the total supply) for free simply because I have a stake in RIC, but I've never done it before. Should be a couple of days if it goes smoothly.

Is anyone willing to establish and moderate a forum? I'd contribute some RIC to that end

I can sure help moderate, read over material or anything of that nature. Not much good with anything that has to be programmed, or setting up forums, webpages but willing to do what I can wherever I can.

Already mailed Cryptsy about BTER about this. Cryptsy said they would have their folks take a look at it, Bter I've yet to get a reply from. They do have a ANN thread here for new coins. I suggested Riecoin there as well and suggest everyone else do the same:

I think the primary push here should be for miners. That's where the added value of Riecoin comes from ultimately. Having no centralization counts for a lot, but many coins offer that. So that's how I've tried to approach the video script.

I think in general the marketing of Riecoin should be done a bit like Seti@home. If we can offer an incredibly simple, prominently displayed method for the average person to mine and contribute, we may be able to attract people who are still really new to cryptos. That would be a huge advantage.

Video Script:
"Riecoin is a completely decentralized crypto currency build on Bitcoin offering an entirely new proof-of-work.  Miners of Riecoin process transactions in the same way Bitcoin miners do, but the mining of Riecoins produces a byproduct that is of value to the scientific community - highly verified prime sextuplets, or prime numbers. The prime numbers generated by mining Riecoin are so well confirmed that eventually, if enough people contribute to the endeavor, all new blocks found would be record breaking new prime numbers 559 digits long! . . .The coin gets its name and algorithm from famous 19th century mathematician Bernard Riemann who hypothesized about the distribution of prime numbers. The data collected from Riecoin mining will benefit mathematicians everywhere working with primes and working to solve Riemann's hypothesis - a competitive endeavor that carries a prize of 1 million dollars! . . . Riecoin also functions as an advanced decentralized currency. Like Bitcoin, there is no central authority, no one can change the ledger or double spend. To safeguard a fair launch, the first 24hrs following Riecoin's release offered no reward. This novel approach allowed early miners to verify there was no premine and have their miners tested and running when the coins finally started flowing. Riemann's algorithm also provides a stable, predictable supply of new coins, so its well suited for payment systems and as an investment. Feel free to ask any questions you might have - the Riecoin community is always happy to help. . . If you'd like to support p2p decentralized currency and contribute to human knowledge through world record breaking mathematical research in prime numbers - help out by mining Riecoins today on your computer!"

This is the style I'll be able to provide for reference.
