So Mintpal owners are just selling our KARM somewhere.... Smiley
I think what we can learn from this is: NEVER TRADE on shady exchanges... always use cryptsy.
it is new exchange and it have some problems. Sometime you can find problem only under load. I do not believe they make really nice and working exchange and then fly with 50 bitcoins after 2 days. Good exchange is more profitable long term. I hope I will have lifetime zero fees in their exchange for this speech  Grin
ITs a big effort to set up an exchange. Even if they had 100 bitcoins now, they could make 100 times that over years of being active. Could be a good alternative to Crypsty as soon as they start supporting more coins.

if you have any problems, go to the irc channel and don't be a dick. i was in there for hours yesterday, mintpal-jay was more than helpful when coinmarktet.io admin brushed off my stuck dep of 22mil karm until i put in bold on 3 posts.

and then later accused me of cheating his site. fuck coinmarket, i will stick with mintpal. for those who are curious, here is coinmarket's false accusations, pages 106-110. the ignorant asshole acknowledged he was wrong, but never came close to apologizing.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422153.2120

he blamed for his site's bug and called me a cheater in the thread, because his site can't handle deposits with multiple tx's. fuckin lame piece of shit. coinmarket, karma's got a big fat cock for you to suck on. bitch.

No dude, Mintpal has to communicate before going offline. We were all lucky that Karm didn't go to 60 sat. when they were closed.

Actually Mintpal did have an announcement up about the upgrades or w/e on the site.  To me he was being upfront about the outage.

Everything before cryptsy is just a tease. It won't do much of anything till then. It will spike once it goes live.

mintpal is good. Some bugs on it though and I am sweating a little as I have 23 million coins in an account I cannot access.

tried to reset password, click on email link >> reset password, new password doesn't work >> locks my account on first attempt // rinse repeat no amount of unlocking or password resetting seems to do anything. Tried a few different browsers too.

Currently waiting on a ticket from thier support staff.... hopefully they can get it resolved quick.

Well I don't think it's weird that on Mintpal is no activity and coinmarket is down

Mintpal twitter said " We're now back online! Sorry for the delay, we carried out some maintenance to improve our matching engine. It is now running much faster."

And I bet 13337 Karma that Coinmarket is doing maintenance also!

Difficulty should drop in a couple of hours.  The Kimoto updates are done, we're just testing them now and plan to release in the next 24 hours.  Will keep everyone posted.

These updates will stop the difficulty from getting stuck high when the large multiminers pass through then leave (which is what is happening now)

Thanks for hanging in there
