Please remember to switch off karma when the difficulty is high so the hash rate drops.

I get about 3-4 times the coins when the hate rate is at 1 ghash and diff is 50+ then when the hash is 3 ghash+ and diff is 15.

Your assistance is appreciated

Miners that do this are the reason that Kimoto Gravity Well exists, and it's a great thing that we only have 200 blocks to go before it gets implemented.  A steady hash rate keeps a coin alive!  Don't chase low difficulty like this, it damages EVERY coin you do it to.

I'd mine with you but I'm not getting the email confirmation from the pool sign up.  I"m down to only 30K left after selling on the exchanges to spread around so I definitely need more.  Anyone with a big wallet feeling generous?  Grin Grin Grin

alright guys. we need to get this coin rolling. If you're holding big bag of coins. Do something to spread the wealth. there are two giveaways happening right now. we need more brainstorming

This coin needs to be distributed fairly around

I agree. It's way too easy to get loads of coins now for practically nothing. Without an appropriate distribution, this coin will go nowhere. (Part of the reason Dogecoin took off was due to the community giving out coins without second thought.)

Finally only 2 hours left until the gravity code kicks in.  These multiminers are tough!

Looking for volunteers to help with the following

1) Logo creation
2) Searching/tagging articles of people doing good things
3) Contacts within media outlets to help get coverage

PM me here if you are interested

Thanks

I know one charity that accepts BTC/LTC/DOGE...http://www.leagueagainstaids.com/index2.html  maybe they can accept KARM donations too?  I have a friend who works for another charity, but they see this as a scam and have no interest so no luck there.

I had an idea for another coin, where there's a shopping site that sells vegetable seeds for home gardens that accepts only crypto as payment...part of the crypto proceeds go to local food banks, what you grow from what you buy you also donate part of the food, full cycle.  Just an idea, no idea how to implement it.

Three words.

SMALL IMPORTANT CAUSE

Get behind one you feel strongly about that the community can mostly fund (ie, consider current market cap) and we'll get behind that too. There will be someone out there (in Karmacoin community) who can do the appropriate real world phone calls and introductions to actually make it happen assuming it can't all be done through social media.

As the coin grows, get behind larger causes.

Just visit the starting pages of the doge coin thread and read how they made a strong community. Try to repeat that.

One of the first initiatives to grow the community is to get writers/bloggers/etc to put a 'Give Karma' button on articles that are about people who are doing good.  Readers will be able to show their appreciation to the stranger by giving Karmacoin, and will be able to see what others have given.   The ideal connections would be to online news outlets like giants like CNN or local news like Patch.  Initially we will be able to just provide a snipped or URL people can embed in their Tumblr blog or Facebook post.

Looking for feedback/help on best way to get to the people at places like that who can make the call to allow the link.

I may have this fixed now. Some of the mail headers from the pool engine don't get formatted properly and some mail servers were refusing to deliver.

Let me know if it's still a problem, I can update the info manually.
