Hi guys,,, back from a long break. Seems like nothing changes, but the top spot is far, far away,,, I make good picks, I make hasty picks, all the same, and my poor team Spurs gave me hope of being second, but then start to lose the easy games and yes even United was supposed to be easy, but then Mourinho had to go and get himself fired.

Will not give up. Week prize must still be mine!

Betting exactly as I'm predicting today, for a change. Liverpool only a meagre 1.22 so used it to pad up a Wolves/Newcastle parlay to bring it to a fat 5.8 odds. Avoided betting on the other big uns as just want to enjoy them, hopefully we'll see some people slip. Arsenal Chelsea of course means someone has to stumble.

@LFC Enjoy the game brother. I know 1-0 wins are what get champions to where they want to go, but I have good feeling about today and getting a nice victory to keep the machine well oiled.

Looks like you got your win? I was so tempted to bet on Arsenal but seeing them lose recently just made me stay away too, which is too bad because they were 3.5 odds to win.

The weeks are getting lower and lower I think in terms of total points won, with 2 games left even if I get max 6 points, it is only 16 points. Just so tough to catch up, but I'm glad I can get back to climbing the ladder. So much to make up for when I left for holidays. Anyone think it is worth it to predict a Fulham draw?

Went for a risky 1-1 on the Fulham Spurs game and then Spurs went and got the winner in injury time to screw me over  . I was the only one who went for the draw and then even worse the usual suspects get the full three points putting them further in front. Looks like  it's going to be impossible for mid-table users like me to catch up to get into the top five now unless they start to consistently screw up and others do extremely well. I guess all we can hope for it to get some top scores from the rounds in the hope of a consolation prize. Won't be much of a consolation though the amount bitcoin has dropped since we started.

Anyone think it is worth it to predict a Fulham draw?

One simply doesn't draw vs Tottenham.    Esp. not a bottom three club threatened to be relegated (after spending a lot on transfers too...  Sad to see them go, if they go.  )

Totally agree, weakened seems kind of dull without this competition plus few Fantasy leagues. I'll have to spice it up with few bets
What you guys think about Arsenal - Man U cup game? I have a feeling about lot's of goals and probably a little bit of advantage on Man U side to progress.

^  Yup Man United has the edge.  And judging both clubs by individual talent, Man United has the better squad imho.  But who knows...  Auba or Lacazette could get an early shot or two.

Thank God the midweek is back! Can't wait to get a few more EPL games underway before Champs League starts again in 2 weeks (or is it 3 now?). No more domestic cup games otherwise for my team, I wonder if we'll be seeing one or even two more new youngsters debut and play for the rest of the campaign? They'll do well, no doubt, judging from what I've already seen.

Sorry to take a dig at you, toke, but this is my biggest single win of the season so far: Newcastle at over 17/1. Should have taken it live too, think it went all the way to 30/1 after that 1-minute goal! Missed out on Palace and Leicester, glad I took this haha.

I think he was playing the Wolves game with a bug too, and then a few games before that, just took shots to numb the pain, what a soldier he's been! You're right though, Vardy loves a goal against Liverpool so he may yet score but I have a feeling Mo is slowly finding his space in that newish position, and Firminho is back in scoring form, Mane's never going to let their defence rest.

How about Rafa doing his old boys a favour eh? Praying we put 7 points between ourselves before Champs League. Wrap up, buddy. I'm only just recovering from really bad chills thanks to sudden exposure to cold and rain last week.

@buwaytress - Wow, what an opportunity to go 7 points clear if we win tonight. This is the best chance we’ll ever have to win the title. We need to take it one game at a time though & win tonoght.

They could drop more points in the coming weeks.

Felt like a very strange game and I know it's silly to say it was the weather (I've only played in snow once and my brown body couldn't take it heh) but everything looked "stuck" or something. Even Becker, kept doing really bad passes I'm actually shocked Henderson didn't look more uncomfortable. Bobby was great as usual just unlucky, I think we miss Trent a lot.

Felt like a very strange game and I know it's silly to say it was the weather (I've only played in snow once and my brown body couldn't take it heh) but everything looked "stuck" or something. Crap game, freezing cold too. The pitch was terrible, we couldn’t play our normal game. Really disappointed but it’s another poont clear at the top as City lost. We just need to dust ourselves down and beat West Ham on Monday. These night games aren’t great in this weather though. I want to see Fabinho start the West Ham game, I thought the midfield was crap last night. Milner will be well rested after being suspended too. He should start!

Indeed, long long way to the season. I'm a veteran of several false dawns already, and never tasted winning the Premier League, so I think as hungry as we all are, most of us know it's a marathon won one mile at a time (all of us except Lovren of course). City have the deeper squad, but Liverpool are hungrier and to be honest, less jaded. Like I said earlier though, whatever happens, we've already had a great season.

We just have to focus on ourselves, and let City do their best.

I made my picks last week actually, before knowing Newcastle would upturn City, so I'll leave my picks untouched even with all the upsets last week.

P.S. I will not bet like I predict. Hoping for another almost 10/1 win today or tomorrow by betting ML on Newcastle and Arsenal Check out Fairlay, odds climbing above 9/1 in past 2 days!
