I think Deeney is the man who really is the unlucky one here. He is constantly giving Watford scores but the poor defense always messing up their leads. Toke can smile a bit now unless there are anymore goals from any side. I will expect Brighton to score though.

Well I got that score bang on but so did five others. I'm really tempted to go for the draw on the Sheff United / Bournemouth game but I think Sheff should just pip this game with the home advantage. Man City should have no problem turning over West Ham unless they put out a weakened team but I can't see why they would. City don't really have much to play for at this point though and there's the Champion's League coming up in about ten days time so maybe they'll start to concentrate on that.

I was close in Everton match. Had a double mind to pick 3 - 1 but for some fucked up reason ended up with 2 - 1 LOL
Anyway, 1.5 points so far and toke seems making more distance. In this Watford match he has very good chance to manage more 1.5 points however it can end up with a 2 -1 for Brighton too. Watford is not a team to finish a match with early lead. They always mess up.

They're so inconsistent. They often play really well and can be backed at home, but I can't trust them to win away. A point is a good result for them though as they don't deserve to be second from the bottom. I'm hoping they can claw there way out of the zone but they've got some really difficult fixtures coming up. Both Man United and Liverpool up next back to back and I'd be surprised if they can grab more than a point or two in their next five matches so it's not looking good for them.

BTW, is anyone from the pool located in Germany? I'm looking to get a German Dazn account if anyone can help me with that or wants to split/share it.

Watford is not a team to finish a match with early lead. They always mess up.

You are spot on, Watford just scored an own goal. Watford defender really gave his best to slide in and put the ball behind his own keeper.

Watford for ok but sadly luck was not with them I was sure they can win this match but defence is not going as they need for staying in EPL but still its good result for them they able to have points in away matches as at the end all points could be crucial now they are in very tricky position as many tough games coming in next few weeks.

I am watching Sheffield right now and weather looks perfect. No wind, sun is shining... Don't know much about England geography but aren't Sheffield and Manchester quite near each other. As Sheffield United done second goal I was jumping that I have exact result in pool but as I check on site there was very sad news for me I put 1 - 2 in favour of Bounemounth by mistake now feeling very upset how I can do this as I was full confident about this match but I enter wrong numbers.

Yeah, I had some problems with the internet. The storm was crazy yesterday. Some or the heaviest winds and rainfall I've seen. I'm closer to Sheffield than Manchester so I'm surprised that wasn't called off. There'll be a lot of waterlogged pitches today I reckon. Loads of flooding down here.

Yeah, they're pretty close. Pretty much the next to each other as far as major cities go. Maybe the storm circled around Sheffield because it wasn't sunny where I was yesterday.

What? You have everything to play for in seventh. I'm right below you by half a point and I'm still hoping for a top five spot. I'm not putting money on it as the top 5 are doing really well but I'm only 5 points behind fifth place.

The City game has been rescheduled for Wednesday but I'm not sure if the storm will have even passed by then. Snowstorms are meant to be coming as well. Time to get the orange balls out  .

All it takes is a couple of good rounds to get back at the top 5 imo.  I remember somebody did it at the last pool...  Think it was Hampuz.

Anyway, yup...  LFC could do it.  Klopp manager of the year for sure, Chris Wilder a close second (IMHO).

It has to be someone from Arsenal. I'd give it to the gudibening clown but he was sacked and Arteta isn't doing himself any favors either.
Arsenal is 10th in the league, they were in the bottom half throughout most of the season. Truly a shocking performance.

Ole is for sure. I can't see any reason for him to stay even if (my opinion) all player purchases are well done and making room selling old or less significant players.
Pep can go out, he always runs away when things get going wrong.

Maybe Lampard, with Chelsea we never know when they are satisfied with the manager. He sucked Di Matteo after UCL wins.

- Pep: There wasn't much he could do against Liverpool and their once-in-a-lifetime insane league run. Plus, City's main objective is the CL i think.
- Ole: Awful season but, expectations were extremely low to begin with.
- Lampard: For a manager making his debut in the EPL, he's doing pretty good.
- Arteta: His first job as a head coach, you can't really expect too much from him.
- Mou: Took the job after the season started...team's had ups and downs but they're still in the top 6.

It's too early to say for sure who's the flop, but I feel like whoever finishes outside of the european competition spots will be the flop of the season.

Def Pep imo.  He was given the budget, they spent it well (imho), they're one of the better squads in Europe (could be one of the best even).  Yet...

If there was a club who was set to win all 4 cups in one season, it was City under Pep.

I can argue for both sides regarding Pep as a flop Can't really decide it myself.
As Cryptofrka said they are second in the league, alive in all other competitions, and their main priority is Champions League for sure. It is understandable if they lose an odd game here and there since they know it they can't be champions anymore and they also know that a fucking miracle would need to happen if they didn't finish second. On the other side as it was also pointed out earlier City has maybe the best squad in Europe and loosing the chance to fight for league trophy this early in the season is sort of under performing. Liverpool was brilliant but City should have stayed closer.

I guess Pep could be called a flop only if he doesn't get at least to champions league semi finals.


United and Arsenal are awful but I wouldn't call their managers a flop either. They brought this more by bad management decisions in the last few years than by the latest coaches. Lampard is actually doing a decent job with promoting young players and he is a club legend so I am quite sure we will have next season to judge him properly.

Biggest disappointments for me this season are actually West Ham and Watford. They have some quality in their side and should be at least mid table positioned instead fighting for relegation.

And two clubs that have absolutely delighted me with their performance so far are Liverpool (surprise, surprise) and Sheffield. If Sheffield manages to get European places they should build a monument for all their players and coach.

If we look back, Pep leaves Barca when things going wrong. He leaves Bayern when things going wrong. I have not seen him perform a generation shift, now they have a chance, few old but important Man. City players finish his career or going to the weaker leagues or teams, he needs to find proper replacements and to maintain quality of performance.
