I did really bad this week and I thought I would have lost quite some positions but lost only one and I said this was going to be a low scoring round yet I did not expect it to be this low for 10 games 12.5 points in total.Happy for Liverpool that made a great win tonight and also for Newcastle.

Now I see Liverpool is not far away from the top 4 and happy to see that Newcastle is also having a look at fighting for the title, they have been doing so well consistently in the last games that it is only natural for them to be just few points from the lead,if they keep this consistency and get new players in the January window they most probably are going to be serious contenders for the title.

Easy money putting the Liverpool to win in the hardest games.
But in the easy matches they become Looserpool and not easy money in that.

I think Liverpool its experiencing the end of Kloop era sadly.
You can ask me, Why?.

Well here in Argentina i saw this kind of performance in River Plate managing by Marcelo Gallardo, they win every derby and every round or important matches, but they always lose against the most low tier teams, and that its because the players lack of motivation after several years of know they can always comeback and overtrhow the situation, no matter how far behind they are, but one time you cant catch the wagon and GG.

Aren't Liverpool all but a very strange team this season, I mean winning consecutive games against Man City and West Ham, then losing consecutively to Nottingham Forest and at Anfield to Leeds United, then they came away with a win at Tottenham, perhaps they'd be the second best team in the league, if they'll only have to play against credible teams except Arsenal.

I finished with 7 points, if the highest was 12.5, I don't think I can complain much, not after going through some of my choices for the week...

Phew, Spurs. Typical late rally. Every defensive player of ours save Robinson not at their best, Fabinho's been stuck in some hopeless run of poor games. But points are all that matter.

Yep, he's having a horrible season. I'm not comfortable with Alisson as well, he made so many mistakes on the ball yesterday.

For some reason (thank God for that) he always gets away with it though, yesterday again with that Kane press.
Throughout his years at the club we should have conceded 10+ goals because of his mistakes and we conceded maybe 2 or 3 times.

They may look strange but to me they are just getting back on track to keep fighting and beating the hell out even the weak teams from now on,I have a strong conviction that they will do that. The wins in the Champions League and especially the last one against one of the best teams recently who are also leading the Serie A convincingly gave them a huge moral boost that was also translated in the game of yesterday night against Tottenham.

Yeah we should not complain for this round,as I said despite losing many points I only lost one position,it shows everybody did not do well in this round.

Strange results for sure but only if you take away all of the context I guess but both Forest and Leeds actually Liverpool played the general attacking game, and just couldn't score enough, while having same amount of defensive allowance.

Liverpool could have lost last night on another match, same amount of chances allowed but only 1 goal to Spurs. And they could have won against Forest and Leeds if they enjoyed same chance to goal rate at Spurs.

But still, I have missed both wins and missed good money. Meanwhile Arsenal won and I still lost bet because I tried for Betbuilder instead lol

Honestly, this season just feels so discombobulated. The World Cup hasn't even started yet. I've been away for a few weeks, which is obviously contributing to that feeling, but honestly I thought it was a complete mess before then. It just seems no team right now, can keep their form. Arsenal, and City probably being the only exceptions there.

It just feels like everyone else is all over the place in terms of form. Liverpool obviously being the most obvious. I didn't see the game, but beating City, and then losing against probably the worst side in the Premier League? It doesn't really make all that much sense.

Seems a lot of teams are struggling with injuries too. I don't know, very difficult season to actually predict anything in my opinion.

You are forgetting Newcastle which has been the most consistent team in the recent games and they are improving themselves from game to game.It would make no surprise to me if in the January window they get some really nice players in midfield and attack and then I would bet on them to win the Premier League, that is how consistent they have been recently.

Liverpool will also come back most likely,we had enough of lost games, unexpected draw results and sh*t like that, now only good things I predict lie ahead for us.

times are changing, and wishes with them, from title contender, now Liverpool is trying to reach CL, and it will be difficult with Arsenal, Tottenham, United, but also Newcastle (I would count out Chelsea from CL already)
Arsenal and Chelsea still without much fire, goalless

waiting for Newcastle, they are a good value @1.8, Southampton is playing same home/away, and bookies are valuing them more at home

Liverpool only know how to do badly in streaks under Klopp. Backing them all the way to do another 20/21 special though! You really think Chelski are out? They need Kante back, is all, and not another Sterling/Pulisic/Havertz etc silky pretender who wilts in Prem games.

I think we can stop calling them Chelski now as the mad Russian has gone and sold the club.  Sad

Anyway Arsenal!  I'm starting to see some comments online saying Arteta as something like a football tactical genius.  But is he?  I'm kinda back and forth about it.  He's a decent manager at the very least and the thing is Guardiola saw something in him when he made Arteta his assistant at City, grooming him to be his replacement at the time.

I guess the biggest test of the season for Arteta is going against his mentor.  :/

Must say that Newcastle really managed to impress me this season. They weren't that active in transfer windows so far after that take over but they bought smartly and made excellent decision to appoint Howe as manager. All these results are also coming for Newcastle while they are playing without Saint-Maximin and Isak, arguably 2 very important players in attack. They can only be more dangerous with those 2 back, granted Almiron managed to hit incredible form and made is even forget about their injury.

I'll be honest, I've missed a lot of football this season so I don't know how well Newcastle have been actually playing. I know the results are significantly better than previous seasons, obviously.

Liverpool could be sold in the following weeks or months, as FSG have announced they'd be willing to sell, whether that means partially or completely remains to be seen. Could be interesting times ahead. I thought FSG have done a decent job, despite their reluctant spending at times, especially evident in the last couple of seasons. However, we were a sell to buy club. That could change depending on who purchases us. Unfortunately, for the amount being talked about (around 3 billion) there isn't going to be a lot of buyers, that I'd actually like to own Liverpool. I think we could potentially be seeing a Newcastle/City style take over, which doesn't really suit the whole ideals of Liverpool. Will be interesting what the league would allow, considering it would be a much bigger club than Newcastle too.

I imagine it'll either be a state that'll purchase them or an American franchise again. Although, I'm a little worried about both of those honestly.

Easy money putting the Liverpool to win in the hardest games.
But in the easy matches they become Looserpool and not easy money in that.

I think Liverpool its experiencing the end of Kloop era sadly.
You can ask me, Why?.

It's something we've been preparing for a while now, though, Klopp's extension only giving us a few more years. And now with the FSG news, it's a new dawn coming on the horizon, on and off the pitch. I hope this doesn't throw the club into disarray. It's not firm news but you know how these things go.

Speaking of hardest games, EFL Cup match tomorrow is Chelsea at almost 7/1 vs City. You know where my money goes!

I'll be honest, I've missed a lot of football this season so I don't know how well Newcastle have been actually playing. I know the results are significantly better than previous seasons, obviously.

Very well. My opinion? It's a bit to do with shelving some underpar players like Jonjo and getting the best out of some (Almiron is enjoying life and playing his best football ever, we should thank Grealish for burning him so much with his "like Almiron" jibe). Not to mention they've got a beast of a player in St Maximin and Bruno (I can never spell his last name correctly). The first match I watched was City (3-3) and man, Newcastle were possessed. Watched them more since then and it's really worth the time. I don't really have an opinion on Isak, he debuted against Liverpool but didn't really swing the game other than well, scoring.

Credit to Howe, but I think also it's just a good collection of new talents shining, old talents maturing, and bad talents being kept out.

I imagine it'll either be a state that'll purchase them or an American franchise again. Although, I'm a little worried about both of those honestly.

I can't really bear to think about it. I didn't like Gillett/Hicks, I wasn't sold on FSG until they got Klopp, but then they went ESL and made me distrust them again. In fact, I think the boardroom mood shifted after the ESL debacle.

Just going to try enjoy the Liverpool I know for as long as I can.

They will always be Chelski  Cheesy. Funny how all it took was one war to change things. How long it is before people turn their attention to Saudi ownership and go after them? I wonder how long it will be if ever that fan ownership starts to become a thing and they buy their clubs back from the owners and the fans become the shareholders. It won't happen with the big teams as they will be too expensive but it could happen with the smaller ones and would be an interesting experiment.

I went only for three draws this week and I was getting them until late in the game that screwed up 2 of them with only one got a close 1.5 points in the Nottingham game as I had them 1-1.There is a lot to lose but also a lot to gain with the draws,if we get many of them correctly they increase a lot our positions in the pool and if a lot of draws come true then most likely you will also get the yellow cap.

The opposite happens when we don't get them,we tend to get a wooden spoon very often like you did already 3 times in 13 rounds is quite a lot honestly  Grin.

1. Traditional world cup pool 0.2 BTC (4.3k$)of sponsored money for rewards + all the fees run by hilariousandco and jeremypwr
I am going to in on hilariousandco's pool but sadly the rest two are not for me 🤣
Can we see England to take the world cup?
Thanks for posting it, I would miss it for sure if you haven't.

Let's hope Tottenham vs Liverpool bring us some joy
I got double joy from the match LOL
Exact score, three full points, Liverpool to get 3 full points.

I did not mind when Kane scored but it was also stressing that anytime we could concede another goal and lose two points.

I'm sure that if Barcelona receives a sugar daddy billionaire, the fans would gladly consider the offer given their current situation. At the moment, only a few clubs owned by their fans are financially stable.

The bad games seem to be consecutive unfortunately for Chelsea, see I am not calling you in Russian language, they had two draws before the match against Arsenal which they lost but they did not play a bad football either, the game was just decided by one goal.

Barcelona seems the one to be doing really well in their La Liga where they won even with one man less after a Lewa red card and a few knives attack from the fans (truly caotic game).I think they may or may not accept the offer from a sugar daddy.

When your RB (James) is your best defender, attacker, and overall player, the team is likely to sink whenever he is absent; until Chelsea solves this problem, we will remain in the shadows. De gea was Manchester united best player for 4 seasons, they are still suffering from it.

Barcelona was one minute away from going into administration, thanks to Sportify; now, in order to survive, they have sold 25% of their TV rights in just one transfer; what will happen in the next three transfer seasons? How long will the stadium serve as a reception area for event planners and a sporting event venue? It would only take one sugar daddy to stabilize the club and allow them to compete again.. they may reconsider if such opportunity comes to save the club.

Barcelona's performance against a Laliga team shows how the league has deteriorated dramatically. a league superman and a Tom in Europe

Chelsea are just going through a rough period. I suspect they'll be back to their best next season. Liverpool probably the same. Man United seem to have gained a little bit of form this season, but they've still got the Glazers to worry about, so not sure how long lived that will be.

Obviously, if FSG sell, Liverpool could potentially be in a similar boat depending on who buys us. However, for the 3 billion or potentially even 4 billion that's being quoted, I can't imagine many people or companies could afford that. You're probably more than likely looking at state buying in at that price, which would be really odd considering the history of Liverpool, and obviously how closely fans of Liverpool hold the spirt of Shankly, which you just can't see them supporting a state buying Liverpool.

Interesting rest of the season ahead, can't say I'm looking too forward to it though Tongue.

I think we can stop calling them Chelski now as the mad Russian has gone and sold the club.  Sad

Yes, why won't it ever be Chelski, right? Not going to let the stains of one event ever wipe that memory out ha. Yeah, apart from Newcastle fans having a jibe (and then getting told off) with Sheikh costumes, seems all that's gone into the background again.

Liverpool many years ago during the Hicks/Gilett cluster, I remember distinctly looked for signatures to try a Barcelona-esque supporter share system but I'm not sure that even really works (looking at where Barca are these days debt wise).

FC United of Manchester just won the Fenix trophy, for an evolving use case of clubs owned by disenfranchised fans.

Yeah, they're too good to keep being so poor, though I was really hoping they'd take City out early in the cup tie last night (horrible performance from the London elites with Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Palace all out). I'm waiting for Glazer debt drama to really unravel once the economy tanks, if the Americans are tied up anyway.

FSG, that really took me by surprise and I honestly can't say who I'd rather own the club. Not going to even think of that just yet.

Want to say am looking forward to rest of season with Champs League and maybe a late season 2020 style burst, but I'd rather everyone sit back and recover and recuperate so we make a real push next season, instead of spending ourselves almost every season to almost win something. Was bored out of my mind watching our Derby game and realised I wasn't going to be too upset if we lost.

Just get everyone home safe after WC, get Nunez unlocked the way we took half a year to unlock Bobby, clear the medical room (we're finally getting a doctor too) and we're good.
