Burnley played awful football, they offered close to nothing in an attacking sense. When you defend so deep you are asking for one mistake to destroy everything and Salah made no mistake from the spot. Back to the top of the PL table we go.

A win is a win indeed. But man, Liverpool were really desperate in this game... Burnley played a really annoying "park the bus" game and Slot couldn't find a way to break the deadlock.

Hannibal really saved them.    Salah is such an interesting player this season. Playing like a ghost throughout the game but still managing to score in the final moments.

The match should have been easy, but it didn't turn out as expected because the score remained unchanged until the end.

City just joined the race this season, it's just gonna be a 3 horse race among the 3 best defensive side in the league.

Im actually not that worried about Haaland but Im worried wether Manchester United would be able to score or not because Donnarumma is pretty tough to crack. In fact I just realized that this Manchester Derby gonna be a sweet debut for either Lammens or Donnarumma, two newly signed goalkeeper gonna make their debut on the derby

Manchester United couldn't score any goal at the end of the day. Donnarumma was quite decent with 2 saves one of which was amazing.

Lammens couldn't make his debut yet because Amorim didn't select him right away. I think he should have done it just like Manchester City did it with Donnarumma.

I already said this but for me as far as i can see the team who lose the derby can also lose his coach, if Amorim plays bad and the teams lose badly and i mean really bad like 4-1/4-0 for sure he is not gonna be the coach of Manchester United.

Like we say here "the oven is not for buns".

Guardiola case is a little bit diferent but.... he can start to face some heavy troubles if he lose this game.

It ended by a big defeat like 3-0. It could have been even more as Manchester City wasted more opportunities. I can't say Manchester United couldn't create any chance but they wasted them all generously. Mbeumo still can't score easily despite trying.

Still can't believe the free gift from Hannibal (by the way new encroachment rules something I learnt as Frimpong's slight encroachment wasn't penalised). We already were the team with the most winners after 80th minute before the season started. We added 4 to that record heh.

It hurts that Liverpool are not dropping points while playing bad cause they definitely will not play like this for long.

Yeah, I keep wondering how it happens, winning while hardly being at our best. Also quite relieved we got some tough games out of the way (hey, a low-block Burnley is tough too). Need more games to get our new boys all settled in.

Nothing happens I think, I have seen it retaken in some matches but cannot remember the league and rules keep changing all the time. I did not know when it was added that players who receive treatment do not have to go off after if the player that made the challenge receives a yellow card.

Bayern have it easy in Bundesliga and I say that not to disrespect Leverkusen or Dortmund but just reflection of how big they are and how small their challengers became after summer transfers.

Chelsea have to deal with big spender Liverpool and Arsenal while City also refreshed a lot. So its 4 big teams in England spending vs 1 big spender in German.

Manchester United is not consistent from their game, even though Manchester City is not too sharp, but because of Man United's strategy, it makes them lose their focus, especially in the defensive line and their midfield which sometimes does not know what to do when holding the ball.

Amorim is confused away from the word confused, he is troubled what else must be done so that Man United can get a good victory against teams that are very difficult for him to defeat, now only get one victory from the 4 matches that have been done.

Liverpool are likely to continue to lead until the middle of the season with such performance consistently, seen from some of their angles much more stable.

Many subtle changes in England over the summer to raise the bar even higher for interventions, especially by VAR.

So with Frimpong's encroachment, it would only be a retake if he interfered with the kick (such as, if he somehow obscured the keeper, or scored a rebound). Apparently.

Sorry foe being super late, but the penalty made by Hannibal the other day which gives Liverpool the win was a complete bad joke, you cant extend your arm in that way. He deserves championship for the next season.

About the main thing i keep saying, this Liverpool is not strong, at least not yet, in every single game of this Premier League they have to fight for every single point and in some ones they have good luck winning always in the last minute.
