WARNING ! This is not a true ratings guide. Ratings are paid for.

If you want another proof that ratings in this guide are paid for, this is it :

No one seems to have a problem with the upgrade, Betcoinsports upgraded to "B-".

BetcoinSports purchased a banner on www.PeepsPlace.com earlier this month and lo and behold, they got upgraded !

Previously, CloudBet had a banner at www.PeepsPlace.com and they were ranked 3rd. Now their banner was replaced by BetcoinSports and as a result BetcoinSports are now ranked 3rd and Cloudbet went down to 5th.

The bottom line is that the top 3 rated books in this "ratings guide" are always the 3 books that are paying for banners at www.PeepsPlace.com and the more you pay Peeps Place, the higher your rating is !

We already revealed in the past that the banner deal offered by Peeps Place includes advertisement in forums :

Suggested upgrades and downgrades:

Anonibet from "A" to "A-" : My personal opinion is that Anonibet should not receive a downgrade. They are the safest of all the bitcoin books as well as the largest. They have also been in business longer than any of the books. Since ratings are driven from poster input, Anonibet may receive a downgrade. They have made improvements by adding live betting since their original rating and have lots of props.

Jetwin from "C-" to "C" : They have a clean record as far as payouts and have been open to poster suggestions. Their lines have gotten better. A while back I wanted to jump the rating on this book a full grade but posters made a great point in that books should earn their ratings and increases should be gradual.

DirectBet for "C" to "C-" : Since this book is going to be the most controversial, I'll post more about them than the others. This is by far the most dishonest book that I have ever worked and this goes back to 2003. I've solely owned two previous sites  and have taken down advertising banners voluntarily forfeiting money when it looked like books were having trouble.

At peepsplace.com Reagan is the owner that puts up the banners and pays the bills. Reagan asked me to run the bitcoin forum at peepsplace.com and submit the ratings. It's his final decision on banners. He is well known on the cash forums and no one has ever questioned his integrity.

There have been many changes and some flaws that I was unaware of when posting an original rating on DirectBet. It is 100% unacceptable for a bet to be held an extended time by a book without the possibility of cancellation. This happened to me personally. I realize that this isn't DirectBet's fault but the problem still exists and the bet can theoretically be held for hours.

DirectBet will say that you should make negotiable bets. Their negotiable bet is the same as making an offer on an exchange. The difference is that the offer cannot be accepted by a player, but only by DirectBet when they change odds.

You have to jump through hoops when making a bet. In order to bet you have to click on the game you want. Another screen pops up and with live betting the odds have changed on me many times through testing. Then you have to click on the order to get a bitcoin address. After receiving a bitcoin address you copy/paste the address and send the bitcoins from your wallet. It's very easy to miss the change in lines. The hold on live betting is very high.

I personally would downgrade them more but don't want to skip grades. DirectBet is my personal opinion for the next book to go under that is rated "C-" or higher. I'll leave the downgrade decision to the posters.

Please post any input that you have on the above listed books. Also, input from other books will help us. I can't remember a thread besides this one, where warnings were given about 4 books and all 4 books went under. Posters are the ones that first posted the problems in this thread and then they were looked in to.

DirectBet - I know that you are going to be in here with many repetitive posts. It's been asked by myself and others that this thread be for the posters. We want books to enter but talk about their own book. Feel free to bash me but please keep your conversation to your own book and not others. All books abide by this rule except for you.

WARNING ! This is not a true ratings guide. Ratings are paid for.

There are people who rate Bitcoin Sportbooks, and there are people who rate the people that rate Bitcoin Sportbooks.

76% think that Peeps Place does not have the creditability to rate Bitcoin Sportbooks because he is getting paid by Anonibet to rate them on top regardless of public opinion.

What do you think ?

DirectBet- Your reply seems to be a problem with me. You have to put out fires on a daily basis in your thread. Can you dispute anything that was written concerning your book or are all the problems valid?

Do any others have opinions? I'll wait some time but without valid objections, Anonibet will remain "A", Jetwin will be upgraded to "C" and DirectBet downgraded to "C-".

It is 100% unacceptable for a bet to be held an extended time by a book without the possibility of cancellation. This happened to me personally. I realize that this isn't DirectBet's fault but the problem still exists and the bet can theoretically be held for hours.

Once again you continue to spread false and misleading information on DirectBet.

I have already explained to you several times why it is not true that bets are held for an extended period of time.

You are either pretending not to understand, or you are just a marketing guy with no clue on Bitcoin Sports betting.

Either way, you do not have the creditability to rate Bitcoin Sportbooks.

I will however explain it to you again with the hope that you will get it this time :

If you use the official Bitcoin Core client or its lighter version MultiBit you will not encounter any delays. Your bets will be transferred and confirmed instantly.

If you use a shared web wallet such as BlockChain.info your bet transfers may sometimes broadcast in a few minutes delay, although this is extremely rare.

If you bet before the start of the game, that's not really an issue at all. If you bet in-play, there are two solutions :

1. Place your in-play bets using the official Bitcoin Core client.

OR

2. You can deposit first and then place the bet with immediate confirmation, just like you can with deposit books. This is explained in more details here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393147.msg7708830#msg7708830

Note that you don't need to negotiate the odds betting exchange style in order to do so. You just use the Negotiate Odds betting option to make a deposit and then you can place your bet at market prices.

I'm sorry Peeps Place but every time you make a false accusation on DirectBet, we have no choice but to remind the members here that you are getting paid monthly by our competitors, Anonibet, BetcoinSports and Nitrogen to do so.

We truly hope they will realize that a liar representative is bad publicity for them and that they will stop funding your activity immediately.

I have no stake in the matter but have to agree with DirectBet here.  They don't withhold any bets, I understand it to be the Bitcoin system itself that sometimes delays me obtaining back my bets or winnings. For live play, I agree there are some issues because you can never get your bet in for the time you want it with the odds you want.  But, DirectBet is totally honest about everything they do and I've never seen anything shady by them so I don't see how you can lower their rating.

Thanks for the input. If people like you speak up it helps the ratings. With me the problem wasn't on the part of DirectBet, but with the blockchain that held my bet for 7 minutes and I couldn't cancel my bet.

With me the problem wasn't on the part of DirectBet, but with the blockchain that held my bet for 7 minutes and I couldn't cancel my bet.

The delay was not in the blockchain but rather in your web wallet.

Despite the rare delay, you still got a fair bet. When you ordered the bet on our website the odds were 3.3. When your bet transfer arrived 7 minutes later, the bet odds went up to 5.5 to reflect what was happening in the game, and your bet was confirmed at odds of 5.5.

Your negotiate odds are not at market price and you are obviously new to gambling.

You still didn't get it.

You can deposit first and then place the bet with immediate confirmation using firm odds just like you can with deposit books.

Please read again this post more thoroughly or better yet give it a try :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393147.msg7708830#msg7708830

Still, the preferred solution is to use the official Bitcoin Core client for time sensitive bets.

You also had a 3 minute delay where odds were held on your end.

We had delays confirming bets in the past when our Bitcoin wallet was clogged during rush hours.

This was a "good" problem as it happened thanks to a significant increase in the number of bets that we are receiving.

We took action and last week have made a major upgrade to our infrastructure to solve it.

Many backing DirectBet have just registered.

You made a similar false accusation yesterday, even on senior and hero members, and we proved you wrong :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.msg8076721#msg8076721

Unlike you, we are not hiding behind shill accounts.

You've been around a few month

That's another false information spread by Peeps Place.

I'm sorry Peeps Place but every time you make a false accusation on DirectBet, we have no choice but to remind the members here that you are getting paid monthly by our competitors, Anonibet, BetcoinSports and Nitrogen to do so.

I didn't want the bet 7 minutes later. I don't want you to give me the odds. I want firm odds at the time I place the bet as it is with every other legitimate book. If you would just pipe down we can listen to what others have to say so that a fair assessment can be made. Your words don't mean a thing at this point.

Remember when you said that Livebets didn't pay me and that was the reason for their D- rating. You showed me where Ryan had them rated as the 3rd highest book. Livebets went under with player's funds shortly after that.

DirectBet- Go look at every other rating site. The top books have gone under. Fortunately with input from the posters, that hasn't happened here. I didn't want the bet 7 minutes later.

Well, if you didn't want the bet 7 minutes later, why did you place the exact same bet a few minutes later ?

The truth is that you were happy with the bet and wanted to double your stake. I can post your bets with time stamps if you like.

You are forcefully trying to find problems from air.

If you want to avoid such rare delays in the future, use the Bitcoin Core client when betting in-play. You will not have such delays with the Bitcoin Core client !

If you insist on using a web wallet but are concerned of a delay then deposit your bet first and then once your transfer is received decide if you want to place the bet with immediate confirmation or cancel it.

Remember when you said that Livebets didn't pay me and that was the reason for their D- rating. You showed me where Ryan had them rated as the 3rd highest book. Livebets went under with player's funds shortly after that.

I give you credit for that !

If you remember, when all this started back in April I specifically stated that you are doing a good job of alerting people from scams, but when it comes to rating legitimate books your ratings are biased towards the books that pay you.

Peeps Place is doing a good job in helping players avoid scams, but when it comes to rating legitimate books, it should be disclosed that :

1. The ratings criteria have recently tailored so that only Anonibet can get an A rating.

2. Anonibet is paying Peeps Place for advertising them, as you can see here : http://www.peepsplace.com/

I think that the most important thing is that the top rated books are strong books and the bottom rated books are stealing our money. This has been a community effort. I've been alerted to many things and I hope it continues.

It's a Casino & Sportsbook. We don't know them.

Your claim that they just signed up to back us is another false accusation.

You just need to accept the fact that many people who read this thread realize that you lie on a regular basis on behalf of the books that pay you to promote them.
