Ok, I am building the release wallet now. I will place it on Trello when I am done. I decided not to change the blocks per year number in the code for now. Ee could put this to a vote on Reddit for the next wallet. I just want to get things moving for now.
Windows build in now on Trello.
What is the link for the Windows wallet? Do you have access to Trello? The wallet is under Desktop Wallet - Wallet Upgrade. I do not have access to put it up on the google drive. |

I just checked on my wallet and it says:
Up to date.
Downloaded 1051200 blocks of transaction history.
Last received block was generated 6 minutes ago.
Obviously 6 minutes ago and only making 1 block of progress is not up to date. Do we need to download a new wallet now? Is there a link?
EDIT: I have to go to sleep now, I'll be back later when we know more... Blessings on the fix! Welcome to 15%~!

What version is the new wallet?
Please let us know when new wallet is tested, working and download is on page 1 here and on mintcoin site.

I installed v1.11 wallet 3 days ago on 2 computers and on both it decided to resync from block 1. Right now it is @ block 867667 and saying last block was 60 days ago. Yet it is showing as confirmed all transactions thru Dec 18.
I've never had a wallet take this long to sync.
Update: now says total blocks are 935993 and i am at 87136 and 59 days since last block. Sync speed has now sped up

Someone from the Mint-Team should be able to provide a simple download link for their users!!!
Get in touch with ALL Exchanges / Online Wallets / Explorers etc...
That's not funny, it's a serious Hardfork that needs further support and some monitoring.

Also would someone please (pretty please) test the bootstrap file (download from the website as well) and let me know if it works - I just updated it a week ago and will update again today providing it helps. Its not funny and we are taking it very seriously - RoboGuy was sending a link out for testing. He finished while I was sleeping and I am now taking over the communications with exchanges. Someone from the Mint-Team should be able to provide a simple download link for their users!!!

You need to download the entire chain again - please test my bootstrap file as it should significantly increase the time. remember to back up your wallet first. Windows - Click on the Windows Icon > Search for %appdata% Look for the Mintcoin folder - open it Delete all files except for the wallet.dat (make sure this is backed up) Download the new wallet and click install just like it was the first time Here is the bootstrap information: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByiwIYtArulmVnJDb1FBVEszWXM&usp=sharingThere is a howto document in the folder as well. |

It's good that the coin is running again but I'll hold off on updating for now. If the rate has dropped prematurely it's a bit hard to explain the vision for this coin to anyone interested in the concept down the line. I rather it isn't altered for the sake of a quick fix.
