OK, this is not looking good....

Been following coinmarket BTC deposits through  multiple transactions, eventually coming across these two final unspent destinations:

43,222 BTC: https://blockchain.info/address/14e7XAZbepQp9MXXzjNG3fNLoAUpaBAXHW

43,250 BTC: https://blockchain.info/address/1PnMfRF2enSZnR6JSexxBHuQnxG8Vo5FVK

I don't think coinmarket could have possibly have controlled around 100k BTC.

Could these addresses be on another exchange now?
Did someone gamble deposits away?
Did coinmarket get hacked, with the bitcoin ending up in some giant piles of stolen coin?

I have some bad news, some more bad news but a way forward.

My father is a officer in the Rikskriminalpolisen (Swedish national bureau of investigation) , this is bad news because he can't help out directly, he took time out of his busy schedule to read this and I had to explain the situation , he said he is 99% sure this has been setup as a scam.

It's a pity as we could of got a case number done and then insisted the host of the website release his details.

What the community needs to do.

1. Someone needs to get case number from Norwegan Police so Kenneth Bjorke is forced to release the details of coinmarket.io owners and the IP address details for the account.

2. Depending on the country of the accused you will need to open a case in that country
  a. Whoever does this part needs to get as much info from everyone who's BTC has been stolen, the more money involved the higher priority the case will have.
  b. The case number will also be needed to freeze this persons bank accounts while the investigation continues, also the banks will require a case number and the police
will need to be the ones to do it.

3. I suggest raising a small fee amount in a escrow for the person who is going to be doing the work. This won't be a easy task as not many people are familiar with Cryptos, if the person
happens to live in Sweden we will sort this out very fast.

If you have anymore questions you can email me at svenlarson101@gmail.com

We need to start a Campaign to catch to the real owner of Coinmarket.io

So i do the first step and rise 1 BTC

If you lost bitcoins at coinmarket.io Send me a image of your Bitcoins in the Withdraw window at coinmarket.io
and tell me how much of that you want to rise.

Don't to make any fake images if we notice this, will put your name and account to the whole investigation.

What we know so far.

Kenneth Bjorke is the hoster of their Website and know some more information wich could help us.

Nickname "Inception" last time online in their IRC channel " Inception!~Inception@82.131.118.155.cable.starman.ee on Wed Jan 22 14:43:55 2014" IP is ending at the destination in Estonia " http://en.utrace.de/ip-address/82.131.118.155 "

5 BTC stolen. Glad you are leading.

Guys i can confirm last week i got my btc (0.4 btc) back when it was online for a couple of minutes (instant withdrawal)

Also Coin Deamon is updated for KDC wallet, i got all my KDC out. (worth 2 btc)

I really dont think it is a scam...

but i fly every 3 days to Oslo and the address that was posted here is like an hour away from the airport... so maybe i will take you on for that btc reward if it is enough to go and get some answers

But once again i dont think its a scam.

Yes, this guy is involved no doubt, this was a quick way for him to make money and is taking kick back. I have been saying all along the bitcoins have been stolen looking at how they have been transferred from the live coinmarket wallets.

[12:02:37] Kenneth B: You there?

[12:07:25] Kenneth B: Im stuck in an impossible situation here, and no statement from coinmarket io towards the community
[12:12:29] xxxx xxxxxx: creating the list of manually pushed withdrawals Right Now
[12:13:09] xxxx xxxxxx: What happened with your skype name?
[12:16:52] xxxx xxxxxx: i got thr automatic withdraw fixer ready
[12:17:33] xxxx xxxxxx: (for altcoins)
[12:22:37] Kenneth B: what about communicating with your users? i cant take this anymore, nothing stopped and im getting a lot of pressure on releasing informatiion about this.
[12:48:55] Kenneth B: what do you intend to do about this situation?
[13:08:32] xxxx xxxxxx: i intend to push A LOT of withdrawals and announce the situation, any suggestions?
[13:15:18] xxxx xxxxxx: It just took some time to figure out how to process withdrawals that threw a "transactiom too large" error
[13:23:19] Kenneth B: You need to clarify to your users that i'm not the website owner, but the hoster of your website.
[13:25:37] Kenneth B: You need to establish some form of two way communication with your users.
[13:31:14] Kenneth B: Me and my family is still getting threats and accusations thrown at us for this, we are afraid and mentally exhausted.
[13:54:03] Kenneth B: I do not want to put anyone else through this hellstorm we have been experiencing this last week. A statement need to come out asap, today.
[13:56:09] xxxx xxxxxx: Im preparing and formatting the text
[13:56:45] xxxx xxxxxx: Will post in 8 hours with a full explanation of what happened, why it happened and who you are
[13:57:03] xxxx xxxxxx: ( probably gonna post it faster )

Whoever is running Coinmarket.io Mr. Kenneth Bjørke i advice you to give us all information you know of this unknown entity that you talk about our Bitcoins, i can ensure you that the Crypto Community is capable of more then just to trade coins and mine them.

We got your whole ID and if you holding Information away means you are helping a thief to get away, for this you can get in jail for a long time.

For your family sake i hope you understand in which deep shit you are right now and start helping us.
If not then i feel that we have to get a bit serious.

You realize your threats are what's causing Mr. Bjorke to terminate Coinmarket.io's hosting and causing even more problems, right?

I do not care, as this guy is helping a thief and he will face all consequences

The online Coinmarket.io Website is just a dead website that is there to lure even more Bitcoins to the thief's account.
At the moment in the IRC channel someone send 4 bitcoins there while its paused...

Stop acting so childish all will be ok if not we will handle it. You dont know anything for sure and if you dont know anything about laws you should shut up.
He is not helping a thief, he cant release information like its nothing you have to follow the laws or else he will be put in jail.
If the time comes there we will have the information we need dont worry. It will turn up.

everything will be fine if there will be any communication between coinmarket.io and users - but owner of coinmarket dont have time to post one time a day what is happening,

so u guys think this really cost much time to write a few word ?

i send to coinmarket ~~1 btc while site isnt working because of my mistake, and it was after someone steal coins from them so my btc should be safe - or they give it to someone else - then this is a criminal

If this guy is from Estonia then he will be able to retire with the btc he just stole. its almost as bad as a Nigerian running a exchange. We definitely need regulation now.

Get the fuck out.

I would just ignore that statement, you understand things are getting very tense now with the BTC being stolen. As you can see they only giving back alt coins.

You just can't be wrong even when you're wrong huh? It's been withdrawn to another exchange wallet. If you'd know anything, you'd know that.
