Please see the information below to understand the idea of collecting the data:

in the beginning it will largely based on natural language of the context but once you opt in to redeem the tokens you receive from watching the ads, we lock your data into a smart contract that allows us to know in a safe and anonymous manner what type of ads you watch, what pages you visit so that the next time you visit a page, we show you content more likely that will be relevant to you. So you and your friend could visit that same page and hold down on a same line of text but see different ads.

I don't understand this process, when uou lock data I'm assuming that my data = my IP, but in case I have dynamic IP ? You should get data thanks to cookies that are saved in my browser ?

I think you will need to make an account because IPs can change, cookies can be deleted etc.

possibly KYC as well. I've seen other teams do the same.

Don't suggest KYC for anything Smiley

Joke aside, i think KYC would hurt the process and many people would avoid that. They can use the solution what download services using (rapidgator, depositfiles etc.)

Hmm i think KYC is really needed these days. regarding the aml and so
I have to say it one more time, but what the connection does KYC have to the total anonimity within all crypto structure? That's not what they meant initially!

I'd join too if I wasn't representing my own project. Damn. I'm not paying myself either.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the community and the team's outstanding activity in every channel this could become a huge project. Well done so far, Vidy team  Smiley

That is correct! Since this is the first project with a video layer ad mechanism, I can say that it has a lot of potential. Additionally, it is gaining more followers everyday in its communication channels and that is kinda awesome and good thing for this project.

It means their marketing strategies are working! That is very reassuring, especially compared to some other projects out there on the market that don't seem to know what they are doing in this department.

The way the Vidy Team applies your marketing and everything related to it is very effective, we need to recognize that if it stays for a long time, or at least enough to last until the final stages, allied to the solid Community that forms now, we will have the much-desired success

Hmm i think KYC is really needed these days. regarding the aml and so

I think majority of serious projects, if not all, decide to rather comply with KYC and AML procedures instead of having troubles with authorities later on...

Indeed for project teams is better to use KYC to avoid problems in the future but investors usually prefer to be anonimous so is not that good.

KYC is needed for ICOs, crowdfunding in general and exchanges, why the hell would I need to submit KYC to receive tokens while I'm watching ads, that's no sense in my opinion

Yes, KYC is needed when there is funding involved. In case of  people watching the ads it is basically a giveaway. No KYC needed and if they tried the project would be dead the same second.  Cheesy

Of course KYC is not what it meant to be in the beginning for crypto, but crypto is also not used in the way it was meant to be. And as long as people are speculating with crypto to make more money out of it, KYC is somehow needed.

Well yeah, they are active here and in Telegram, that is definitive a good sign, but something you should be able to expect for a project which wants our money.

Community is the best way to spread the project and vidy already did the right ways to attract more people to join on this good project. Telegram channel looks so alive day by day.

The problem is, kyc is over asking documents. I mean i gave out my passport for countless thing and my privacy is gone.

They could have worked with lesser documents. But that train is passed.

They are forming an excellent community, not only in the telegram, but also in other channels, maybe it's time to put some videos on Youtube and boost them using this great and enthusiastic Community, perhaps relating to some Campaign, this will be wonderful

this kyc thing does not excite me very much, the crypto were in part been created for anonymity, not even this thing to collect user data when they watching ads to make his profile online to see what advertising looks more what are his preferences, is one thing that google and facebook have always done...
