I think one of the Bittrex employees, the one called Julian tweeted something some days ago, asking for more time to resolve the issues. He basically, he named some Countries such as Iran and Syria as now being a problem for them. I believe it is to do with Bittrex partnering with this South Korean exchange that has triggered these issues.
even if that was the reason, blocking the access to the balance is not a PROPER way of handling things, we had seen issues like that on many different crypto exchanges, Poloniex, Bitfinex, and many other ones had issues with different countries (Bitfinex even had problem with USA people), but in NONE of them, the user got his/her account BLOCKED and they never had problem with ACCESSING THEIR MONEY. only thing they had to do was to remove their balance within a given time and for that purpose, those few people had full withdrawal access WITHOUT limitation to empty their balance. having issue with a country DOES NOT mean you have the rights to BLOCK ACCESS to a person's money and balance! I hope Richie and other staff are getting ready to pay for the consequences of blocking access to people's balance without orders from judges or governments, because, let's face it, we trade, we use stop losses, we move with market, when we don't have access to our balance, when we can't put any stop loss or any order, any profit loss, or any money loss, is considered a consequence FORCED by the bad support and wrong move from website, and those type of consequences, will be paid by them no matter what, and i assure you, there are people out there that are already seeking lawyers for this. i hope you are ready for such a thing Richie thanks for your explanation but no need for that its obvious buttrex was looking for some excuse to start scamming some group of users well ! they found that excuse |

28 days passed & not a single response to ticket

Ok so i managed to get my missing deposit ticket solved. Took me 2 days trying to get attention and they then credited the missing deposit. What is the problem on your account? Lets see if we can help you as a community. Are you joking? Read previous pages ,they blocked many accounts without reason since 30 days ago Its not only my problem! thousands user got disabled Ok ok i was just trying to help 1 person at a time to see if it was possible. What i did was post up my ticket number on their social media and use reddit and posted my ticket number each topic i could find on bittrex. Im also followed by them on my twitter account so i direct messaged them my problems. I also looked for the guys who run bittrex and replied to their messages on their twitter. I think my efforts were likely the reason my ticket got solved because as soon as i did the above stuff it was less than 12 hours after until problem resolved. Does that mean they will solve your problem also, no not at all. I wish you well i will keep an eye out because i use them occasionally. |

I had no issues with my account, but when I heard the reports about accounts getting closed I got worried. And when I saw that this Bittrex guy on Twitter behaved like a dick, I moved my coins outta there as quickly as possible.
Just a wild guess, but if the affected accounts all belong to middle east-ish countries, it could mean this is some sort of measere against terrorism and how they finance their operations.
In any case, an xchange with bad communication and bad rumors is a red flad for me.
you do right thing but dont be simple man terrorism?!!! At the end of the day, it does not really matter what kind of reason they have. Maybe it´s pressure from the US gov, maybe it´s scam. It doesnt matter. What matters to me is that Bittrex acts completely intransparent and hostile to some users. Their twitter guy was behaving like a dick ("There is nothing to tweet about", "stop it or I will ban you"). The truth is: We have to put a lot of faith in these exchanges and trust that they don´t loose or steal our money. Often, we don´t really know who is behind an exchange, and if something happens the chance we could successfully sue these people and get out money back is about nil. Unprofessional behaviour is a clear red flag for me. So yeah, I am done with Bittrex. |

it's so weird.
why Bittrex do not answer to the users whom their accounts got disabled?
it seems they have no answer for this or they want to steel people's money so it's going to be SCAM!!!
I really encourage other peoples to withdraw their money and go to other exchanges like Poloniex, because soon or late their accounts will get disable too, and that moment, is too late to make a withdrawal...

They are active in slack and twitter specially Richiela and he responds to questions too. can you refer that where they response why they disable accounts and when it will solve??? and why they dont warn about this situation before they hostage our money if your reference is that link, it dont mention why they disable accounts and when they will open it and you must be know they release that after one week, any thing they do until now !! they dont open any single accounts that they disabled before and it means they dont will to open accounts until now and as they clam just 0.1% account are effected disable issue and they cant fix it and cant even give a proper explanation, what happen if more account effect something else issue, i think it must then about 2 years to solve it they dont have activity in most important crypto forum!! bad for them because some people follow bitcointalk to find out crypto news they disabled many accounts without explanation about 31 day , i ask every biitrex support include Richiela in slack and they dont answer me, i send my ticket number in slack to nothing happen before i deposit my money i send all of doc they want and get enhanced verification proof, then i deposit my capital and trust ,obviously i was wrong i give them my money (8.2 BTC) politely and now i must beg to take it back??!!! |

And now on to some positive news:  www.pairtracker.com has opened up this week, as a way to make it easy for you Bittrex-traders to separate the signals from the noise while sipping your coffee! It is not a standard, server-side tool where everything moves up&down, but a client-side webpage that listening to the datafeed and let you know as soon as the change in trading volume of any tokenpair exceeds the set thresholds. It is an excellent way of following p&d's, and as well to catch up in the morning with market developments: it shows you directly which pairs experienced significant volumes changes (positive = green, negative = red) while your were offline. And with significant is meant, what you think is significant in terms of trading volume % change, frequency and absolute volume threshold per 24h.
