I know a lot of private coins already (Dash, Monero, Zcash, Spectrecoin, Deeponion). What advntages you offer before this coins?

None of those coins has features which will allow to transfer data safely, this is one of the major difference they are trying to sell

And ScamOnion...sorry DeepOnion isn't really anonymous since we know that it's based on the same tech of Verge which we know that isn't really anonymous. Btw, when your perform a transfer on those blockchains, you're transfering data basically

So basically you are saying that if this project is implemented successfully, then this could be a big hit among crypto enthusiasts favoring coins focused on anonymity. Right?

If this is the positioning done, it was well placed, I would not judge flawed something being implemented comparing to previous things, what more is in relation to previous ones, is the space for improvement. All the quoted projects actually began with good intentions of true change, but got lost on the way somehow
I think that all these projects are experiencing a crisis period due this market, perhaps everything will change when the bull market comes and teams of these projects would be work at full strength with new enthusiasm.

i think they need that strength right now since now they want to raise the money.

Really glad you are removing the bonuses. I have raised the issue with bonuses before. Besides hindering decentralization, they distort the market in such a way much of the risk is transferred from private sale investors to public sale investors. I hope other projects follow this fair practice of equal risk and opportunity.

I'd have to agree with this sentiment. During an IPO with a traditional company that is going public, do they have bonuses for people that buy the IPO early? Or do investors that invest more get a better deal?

As far as I know, I would think not, but I'm generally interested.

Actually there kind of is. After exploring what might be a good price, an investment bank buys a big amount of stock from the traditional company, with the intention of selling that stock to large investors like funds and insurance companies. The investment bank gets a better price but takes on the risk of not being able to sell all stock at the price they desire.

With ICOs the investment bank has been cut out of the process, so the company bears the full risk, ie. not being able to hit the soft and hard caps. That also means price discovery has typically been left out. Just a few ICOs used a Dutch auction, like Raiden Network. Finally, most ICO bonus tiers range from obscene to delusional.

Definetely, if this projects get to release it can be an interesting point of view on privacy and anonimicity. For the first time one of this projects is released with public team, but still need to be seen how it goes, I don't like ETH tokens at all.
Some interesting points are on their whitepaper, but at the same time im not sure it can be implemented as they want on a ETH blockchain layer.

they must be really confident to do that. and raising the cap is an interesting move.

Yes, this is something I have never seen before. It raises the hardcap as you mentioned and in times like this such decision means they are very confident in the project.

There has been some ico projects without bonuses in the past. The one thing they had in common that people invested just in the last minutes, or on the last day, not before Smiley They were not private sales though.
Well, I hope they are not just pretending to be THAT sure in their creation, and there are definite reasons for their confidence.
Do you think what they already have private investors with whom this project anyway will be launched? I also think that they should have reasons for such confidence in success.
I think they don't have any investors now, otherwise we would be informed. What for to hide good news from the public..

Privacy and security is really important today. Dusk network can offer something interesting for that I think, with a huge blockchain application. The potential of a project like that is very good, I’m impatient to see where it can go.

All twitter og celebrities seem to be bullish now. i am scared since i don't know what i am missing on my ta and i have not accumulated enough, not even close. But that would mean it will be bringing lot's of new money after the ico, and you know what that would do to the Dusk price Wink.

It is the hope of the community that this project will solve the shortcomings of previous projects that are focused on privacy and that will be great if it will be delivered effective at the soonest time possible.

User friendly with maintaining privacy is most important for mainstream adoption. Regulation might play bigger role. How DUSK is planning to deal with government interference specially china? is users able to use DUSK platform in china?

This just shows the potential that Dusk has. If they can actually nail the privacy aspect, I think there is still a huge market for a REAL privacy coin done properly.

I wouldn't even put that crap in the same category of other coin of the caliber of monero. Cool

This just shows the potential that Dusk has. If they can actually nail the privacy aspect, I think there is still a huge market for a REAL privacy coin done properly.
I think the same about Dusk, his potential fits perfectly into the gap they seek to fill, and particularly, longing for someone who brings real meaning to the word privacy in the crypto world
