That's correct the rewards have indeed decreased.

Dusk Network integrates with Binance ChainClick the title to read the full announcement! (Dusk Network Integrates Binance Chain)All of us at Dusk Network are very excited to announce that Dusk Network has committed to integrating our privacy-oriented blockchain with the Binance Chain, a new blockchain system developed by world-leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance and the community. As part of the effort, we will be migrating a part of our token ecosystem to Binance Chain.
Binance DEX application & welcoming contribution Mels Dees, on behalf of Dusk Network has submitted a proposal to list DUSK on Binance DEX
We believe our integration with Binance Chain and application to the Binance DEX should not come empty-handed, but bear proof of our ability to contribute. Therefore, we are excited to announce two Binance Chain Evolution Proposals (BEPs). Integration details The integration will consist of the launch of a new BEP-2 token called DUSK, symbol (DUSK-45E). The total token supply of DUSK (ERC) + DUSK (BEP) will remain the same as before, ensuring continuity and transparency. We are minting 50M BEP-2 tokens and burning 50M ERC-20 tokens, to ensure a steady total supply of 500M Tokens.
Exciting times ahead, we are just getting started!
How to learn more about Dusk Network Dusk eliminates the middlemen in regulated markets by using cryptography to implement privacy and trading restrictions on chain. This means we offer Security Tokenization that is private, scalable, and cheap.

Exciting times indeed, to be honest, everything connected to Binance should give Dusk even more recognition and future value. It looks like this project is ready to take off and become something big.

I tested the Dusk extension on a decade old PC and one from last year. On both PCs the extension consumes a non-negligible amount of CPU, about 8-12%. I have not measured the energy consumption yet.
However, I can already tell the most recent PC outpaces the old one in terms of Dusk accumulation. At this stage CPU performance seems to be a bottleneck for ZK proof verification.
I thought generating ZK proofs was a magnitude more CPU intensive than verifying them. What then explains the effect of CPU usage on verifier performance?
The browser nodes are helping the network with verification of various zero-knowledge proofs in order to lighten the CPU load of the full nodes. The aim is to expand these browser nodes into full fledge block generators (which will participate to the consensus and get the rewards when they produce an accepted block) or verifiers (who can verify a zero-knowledge computation on behalf of the network). I meant if it takes 1 minute to generate a proof and less than 1 second to verify it depending on the node's CPU, how is it possible to receive a new proof so quickly? Currently they come every 4 seconds, but yesterday it seemed like the bottleneck was the node's CPU, not the proofbox.

Integration with Binance chain.. So this means you will burn some regular ERC-20 tokens and issue BEP2 tokens instead ? Or am i missing the point here?

Do you need to have the Chrome application open (meaning one open tab) or is it enough to have the Chrome app and the Dusk plugin installed? Becuase my main browser is Firefox, but I do have Chrome installed.

Otherwise, the next time you start the application, it crashes and needs to be restarted. I have this happened several times.

Yes, there is a warning of failure. Then you need to click on this message and Dusk starts again and works as usual.

I did close chrome countless times and it didn't even happen once. Maybe there is something about your configuration. Or maybe i closed "Verify during CPU idle time only" which was open default.

Today I tried it on my netbook and I noticed two things. 1. The window was to big for my netbook screen , so I couldn't see the last option on the bottom "Client / Server Messages". 2. The Addon switched from "Connected" to "OFF", without any action from me. (Networkproblems today?) So maybe it would be a good idea to colorize the Dusk logo when the addon is connected, so you can immediately see that you are offline. Thanks for your feedback, I have forwarded it to the tech team! Edit: what resolution were you using? 1024x600 btw. today I couldn't observe the behavior that the Addon switched to "OFF" without any action from me, it seemed to be depending on my bad internet connection yesterday. (ping >200ms) The nodes will indeed disconnect if there are connectivity issues. Re your suggestion; you can already see the toggle goes to off as well as a change in colour for the whole window! I have discussed the resolution with the tech team and will get back to you! Edit; which netbook were you using? 1024x600 is a pretty odd resolution What I meant was the color of the little Dusk symbol, when the addon-window is closed. It happened that i was offline for a long time, because I thought, I am online. Only coincidentally after opening the addon-window I saw, that I was OFF. Medion Akoya E1228 (MD 98720)

You kind of slipped in here that the testnet will be live in 7.7. Is this accurate now since i haven't heard that date in anywhere else?
