i think this coin needs it's own commercial website. havn't a clue about all the angles, but it's becoming clear we've got to do something! ...or am i just being impatient ... nooo... Price FUNK Total BTC 0.00000001 1,042,806,775.41330707 10.42806775 ^@allcrypt i think it's about 20% of the total minted so far maybe ... hosting open source apps that windows users don't have access to? (mixers, drums & etc) forum where artists could sell & swap? only 25kFUNK to join! come on down! i'm blissfully shy of coding but i can help w/page building and moderating if anyone's up for it

Great ideas! fwiw, n00bnoxious pointed out the flaw in my dns seeder code. So, once I get back into the swing of things (around the first week of June), I'll get up that seed node and finish porting the Android wallet.

So awesome! btw, thanks for being so prolific Michael. Going to get back to some Cypherfunks tunage soon. Been churning songs on the trains I travelled through. I plan to this week (in terms of dev), get that seed node online so I can finish the android wallet! Thanks to n00bnoxious for the fix.

I can't wait to hear some of your new songs, and I really like your style a lot. It's distinct and makes me nostalgic for some reason, especially your song 'Tribe' for example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrbc4MmU97M

HI Simon, We need to have the Cypherfunk shop open. I was thinking why don't we crowd-fund for some cool stuff to put in the FUNK store, or for prizes for a contest to get people to want FUNK? We could use StartJoin.com to crowd-fund, and we can figure out a nice list of possible things to stock up the store with (synths, samples, software, concert tickets etc.) People could be buying FUNK with BTC just to buy cool stuff in FUNK! I'm thinking along the lines of if we had a pool of funds raised, what could we do with it? Maybe we could build those FUNK ASICs, that stream music and pay the listener, musician, and a funk pool. We need to make FUNK something unique and special that gives people an exclusive tool that does something nothing else quite does. Read this thread and let me know what you think: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1wzxjy/soundcloudcom_considering_bitcoin_as_payment/

I've recently looked into having a FUNK tipbot on soundcloud, so people could directly tip musicians they enjoy, but it's a little tricky since you can't use a bot to send/receive private messages. Love your tracks on soundcloud, btw, wish I could send you a tip

Love your tracks on soundcloud, btw, wish I could send you a tip Thanks jwinterm, It appears that soon at least one major music distribution service will integrate Bitcoin as a form of payment or tipping mechanism. The first one to do it will see huge increases in traffic and activity as musicians flock there to get paid. So far, nobody has really done anything to enable musicians to get paid with cryptocurrency except for https://www.coindl.com/
