Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Okay who's working on a BC exchange & how can I get involved ?

This ^^

I have been saying also that BC, and it's concept of preserving value for it's users and investors, is profound.
Bitcoin could learn a few things even. It's nice knowing no one is going to dump mined coins on you every day
isn't it? Could it be that long term mining is on it's way out? That fair and rapid distribution with PoS is the future?
Could this be what Crypto needs and make it truly mainstream?

I sense a paradigm shift in Alt coins with BC and now FAC that will last a long time.

Expect a trend in the market to reward coins that protect investor's and user's value.

We need to get this clear to the major news sites who have also covered alot about what bitcoin and alts is

If you want to be rich by investing in BlackCoin or any other promising coin read about this simple investing system:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345065.0

TL;DR:
1. Buy coins for as much money as you can afford to lose
2. Wait for the price to double
3. Reward yourself by selling 10% of your coins
4. Go to point 2 Smiley

If at any stage something bad happens to the coin you should still have plenty of cash.
Don't sell all your coins - don't repeat mistakes of the people who were selling bitcoins for 1$ or worse.

Good luck Smiley

I think that is correct since PPC PoW continues. I believe MINT was the first to introduce a limited (5 week) initial PoW distribution model before going to pure PoS, followed by BC. The BC PoS began about 2 weeks before MINT's did.

Bubble.

Looking at your username, I can see that you are a Dogecoin bagholder. Hurry and trade your Dogecoin to BlackCoin before you miss the train.

+1

Can you hear your cashier saying:
"Would you like to pay with cash, check or dogecoin?"

no...?
Can you hear them saying
"Would you like to pay with cash, check, or blackcoin?"

yeah, me too.

Yeah, very true. I can even see one better, do you have a blackcard. I can see this happening. Blackcard sounds like something I can use to pay for things.

Now Taking Pre-Orders - BlackCoin Wallet Card

We are now accepting pre-orders for the BlackCoin Wallet Card!!! Please click here to place your order: http://www.blackcoincard.com

Price: $20.00 + Free Shipping Worldwide!

Pre-Orders will be from today until 4/18/2014. First Batch will be shipping out the week of May 1st!

Only the first batch will be the limited edition version!

The official website launches 4/14/2014 @ 5:00PM EST

Please note: The image is just a low resolution mock-up. The actually card will be high resolution supper glossy plastic with vibrant colors.

So what exactly is the Blackcoin Card Wallet?

The BlackCoin Card Wallet is a completely branded BC card with a pull out USB dongle. It will be loaded with a custom BlackCoin start menu and the wallet pre loaded. When you insert the wallet into your computer the menu will automatically launch, and you will have access to your wallet, current market prices, BC news, and other elements all in one place! What makes this exciting is you will not only be able to keep your wallet with you at all times, in the event you need to access your funds you will be able to do it at any Windows computer. The blockchain and all other data will already be loaded on the card. (Obviously if you do not plug the card in regularly it will take longer for it to sync). Also, the launcher will automatically update the wallet to the current version automatically.

Another benefit of the card is you can pre-load as many coins as you like and give the cards away to family and friends as "gift cards". They will not need to be tech savvy to use it! Just insert and go! This is a great way to introduce others to BlackCoin.

And lets be honest, wouldn't it be cool to walk around with a BlackCoin wallet card with the sexy logo?

Note: A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the dev team and community projects.

Pick yours up here: http://www.blackcoincard.com

Now that BlackCoin value has exploded, the first batch of Limited Edition cards might be valuable one day!!!

Post this on your Facebook and get your friends involved!
Come on guys just be honest that you all hate the fact that you missed to buy bitcoins below a dollar and get rich when they become waay more then a dollar!
You can now get a second chance!!! I don't want to go to hawai alone Cheesy
Google Cryptocurrencies. Because people think the same about these as how they thought about the internet in the early days!
And don't get bitcoins because they are old fashion! Blackcoins are the nxt big thing! Pricen ow is 0.14 dollar cent and I agree you its gonna hit a dollar REALLY SOON!
Make an account on www.mintpal.com
Buy bitcoins on (www.bitonic.nl for dutch people, you got your own probabbly)
Send the to your addres wich you can find at your mintpal account
And then chance the bitcoins for blackcoins!

People don't need to comment. And if you have 100 friends and just 10 read this and only one is curious and looks into it and buys it. He will tell his friends! And it will repeat and repeat!

I seriously bought some FAC because some spammer spammed it here Tongue
So it DOES WORK!

And link this tread Smiley

I think in a few years Blackcoin can be not #2  but #1... Bitcoin is slow, the mining leaves an ecological footprint from hell and the coin is related with tons of negative press. I can't see it being on the throne in a few years. It was a good pioneer but now there are coins which have improved everything that is bad about Bitcoin.
