Yep, something is definately stirring...

Sadly there is not much on development side. Github looks like abandoned it can end flat like DOGE,
they had last update on 2015 on github.
Just do won research, BLK is good POS coin but looks bit abandoned now.
It does not mean it will last forever like that but who knows.

Been a long time since I checked in on Blackcoin.  I think I have 100 of these somewhere.. so it only has to increase by eight orders of magnitude to make me rich .  I remember mining this at their pool... one of the original proof of stake coins.. impressive to see it still operational.

I think the alt season started and even if bitcoin restarts it rally a lot of altcoins will follow its rise and BLK is still really low around 3000 sats. I see it easily rise to 10k satoshis where it will find some strong resistance. But anything is possible with cryptos.

I have seen this altcoin recently added to my favorit exchange. I have heard only good about this project so far, but I have not heard much. Since I am a little bit new into this project, could someone enlighten me why is this project so good? If you are invested, what was your reason to invest?

no premine, no ICO
fairly launched
the coin's code and idea (short duration POW, POS 3.0) is used later in some other coins after BLK
POS only (energy efficient)

Very fast to use, simple, has a phone wallet QR if you need.   You can just leave in a wallet and it will stake and give you some more coins with no effort really required just needs to be online.  Cheap to send around the internet on any transaction size, quick so you are not waiting round for it to confirm forever.   The price is quoted on bitcoinwisdom because its a well established alt coin now so its simple to check on.
Its accepted a fair few places, I was using to to buy some tiny amounts of gold recently.  Its useful to buy over time not in lump amounts.  Ive used it to buy games a couple times.  I think its got lots of spare capacity if the market wanted to use it some time bitcoin is slow/bloated, I reckon people will get fed up one day.  They should nickname it blackbird because its like that old spyplane just idling ready to take off for the upper atmosphere

Simple and easy to use. All is done by community members, for me one of the dezentralized coins i have seen.
