The question I need to ask myself right now, is do I stay up till 4am to try mine this coin again or not. Such decisions.

No need to stay up, schedule a task... unless of course, you like to see the actual mining occur. I like to see it working and the diff shoot up  Something tells me it won't work tonight either though... |

The decision to launch at 23:00 EST was to allow for people to be at their homes instead of at work for the scheduled time. This is a world wide market and it's just a reality that it's always going to be a bad time for some one.
