Just keep in mind that a relaunch at night might work for the USA based miners but automatically screws us European miners over. The dev has to find a solution so all of us are satisfied.
I think the best approach is for everyone who mines to move to the same time zone so the launch is fair for everyone. Or maybe we can have 24 forks so that each time zone can launch at 8 pm in their respective time zone. Sorry, sometimes I need to laught after reading 20+ pages of hate posts. As long as the relaunch is not when I am in the bathroom. Can I request a non-bathroom time launch please? Also i might be busy when it launches. Can i just post when im free and then launch the coin?

Suggestions:
1. DON'T RUSH THE RE_LAUNCH! Take 1 week and get things straight first! 2. Refund all IPO investors and start over with the IPO. That will instill confidence. 3. Go with Scrypt instead of N-Scrypt. Yeah yeah we know we are all idiots for not being able to get scypt-n working. Whatever. I have it working no prob in Windows, but in linux/BAMT it is completely different story. We understand the 1/2 hash rates. That's not the complaint. Things just go a lot smoother with Scrypt. Not to mention the horror stories people have with destroying their GPUs using N-Scrypt. Also, who give a shit about Scyrpt ASICs? They aren't here yet. Why are we defending against something that doesn't even exist? Give me a break.
Oh yeah, and the complaints about people renting rigs? Go complain elsewhere. You have a rig rented? Great. Go mine something else then. What's the problem?
Are you not paying attention? Scrypt ASICs are around, they're even being sold on this very site. We need something like keccak.

UPDATE: I'm starting on the code now.. I'll need at least another day to provide an estimate, and having some working prototype. Will keep this thread updated. I'll have a firmer ETA in a few hours.
I think twitter is better for updates. This thread is way too full now. +1 Okay.. pushing updates to twitter @GPUcoin now..

1 day is really not enough to fix the problems AND test them, shoulda just closed down the coin, rebranded the name and launched in 2 weeks acting like you're a brand new coin while notifying investors secretly what your plans are
sound like a guy with no ipo...lol

When someone says "Asics are not to be worried about, give me a break". They don't mean Asics are not being used right now. They mean Asics are not a threat because they are not economically superior yet. They will be in time, but that time is not now. If someone wants to spend the cash for asics right now they deserve the hash. 6 months from now that may be a diff story.
Scanning across these forums... Dear, GPU Coin I hope you use the amazing success of the ipo as an indicator of support, and not the non sense and over reactions made on some of these pages. You stand to gain much more than 40k if you can turn this opportunity into a viable business. Us ipo owners did our due diligence and recognize potential in the details. Not only that, but you will be a pioneer(the end of crap alts and beginnings of business on top of alts). It's all up to you to make this opportunity happen we are here to help and support.
i confess... I had an emergency and could not be around for launch today. Really glad to get another chance. You see "actions have an equal and opposite reaction". Anyone who ever created a coin before knows how hard it is to get everything right and you even said that you are new to this(but show signs of a sharp mind and can learn fast, - and thats better than a seasoned idiot imho).

sound like a guy with no ipo...lol Actually if I was an IPO investor I would want this Why would I want investment in a product with a tarnished name and incredibly bad publicity after a failed launch ? You sound like a guy with no clue about good business sense

So, we do have a new Dev and we may be looking for a second Dev to help make this actually work. We never once anticipated this kind of traffic and thought our original plan would work out fine, but as you saw that didn't happen. We ask that you remain patient so that we can make this work exceedingly well, and we look forward to your continued support.
We will announce the new launch date in advance via twitter and this thread. Thanks again for all your continued support.
Did I not warn you about every single bit of this in my email to you? Every single thing I warned you about came true.
I told you I could help you professionally launch the coin. I even re-offered after the Challenger disaster of a launch this was. You haven't emailed your IPOs with details. You ignored me as a pool op. It's as if you're brand new to the crypto world. You've ignored great advice from several established members on here.
Stop hiring random people and turn to your IPOs first! 95% of the people in this thread have no experience and honestly have no idea what they're doing with mining rigs, but you're turning to them for advice. The "customer" is not always right, random polls are good to get a feel for things, but your IPOs should be your primary "go to" people.
If you ignore everything else, don't ignore this: Don't rush your relaunch. The rep of the coin has been severely impacted, which will be hard to recover from. The solution needs to have a flawless execution.
As an IPO, your next amount of free time should be dedicated with sending us a detailed email breakout of what went wrong, why it went wrong, what your plans are to fix it, and then to ask us how we feel about that.
