To MPH Admin

I've been using the 12xxx ports with a custom batch file to rotate through the most profitable algos when a port disconnects, a lot like what you have on the site.

I notice the ports are not disconnecting as the profit list changes.

for example, Groestl is top of the list now, and i'm mining zCash.

what's the criteria for the auto-switch to kick in?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I have a feeling it has something to do with the ominous message being displayed on the miningpoolhub site.

"Ethereum network is becoming overloaded daily. Increased withdrawal fee will be stay like this from now on."

How much is this increased withdrawal fee?

I may be switching all of my auto-exchanges to Bitcoin instead of ETH in the near future to get around this...

Increased withdrawal fee would only apply to when ETH is pulled out of MPH right? If I have ETH as auto exchange, there's no extra fee for that?

Hmm I think there is still problem w monero. My monero 24hr average is higher than my BTC conversion by 30% and I also mined some etherium and other coins on the same day... So about half of my earnings is missing.

Eth is overloaded so even if you use autoconvert it would need to be sent by the pool to the exchange. And it will queue up the overloaded pool. So a delay would be normal.

Hi,

I have been using miningpoolhub for ETH and I found it very easy to use and reliable.

However, I am wondering if you have any plans on increasing the number of coins for Scrypt and X11 as I think the current choices is quite limited especially for X11.

Request for X11

Cannabiscoin(CANN)
Adzcoin(ADZ)
Influxcoin(INFX)
MonetaryUnit(MUE)

Request for Scrypt

BitConnect (BCC)
DGB-Scrypt(DGB)
DNotes(NOTE)
AUR-Scrypt(AUR)

@miningpoolhub

Really like the pool. Problem is I don't get any email notification when my hashrate is down.

Monitoring is on.

Any hint, what the problem could be?

Please update the FAQ to explain how to get notified when a rig goes down. I think you just turn on "Monitor" on the worker, but it doesn't state that anywhere. It'd be nice to have some options to control that (e.g. if rig is down more than __ hours/minutes notify via email).

Hey mister Miningpoolhub,

Any chance for UBIQ and Decred in your to do list?
The last seven times this was asked, DCR is on his to do list and UBIQ was on his watch list.

That is exactly the point, we have been asking for new coins for so long (at least since May). I know issues have to be resolved but it feels like they will just keep coming and we will never get anything new and be missing out on so much.

Keep on asking people! Wink

FYI
Any plans for adding LBRY?

On that note, any news on Decred?
[.......]
Please don't forget about Decred, Pascal and LBRY.

Hehe sorry for late.
Now I'm running more than +40 servers. It's really time to hire someone to go together.
I've found that it's really inefficient and slow to work two different things like server maintenance/monitoring and developing.

Ahh...So no difference if i want to autoexchange 0,1 Bitcoincash or 3,9 bitcoincash if no autoexchange other miners request...
But if i have 0,02 bitcoincash and other miners make a 3,98 bitcoincash autoexchange request, autoexchange will ends successfully, right?

Yeah you are right.
I lowered minimum threshold amount for bitcoincash. I hope it to trigger auto exchange soon.

Are there issues with the front end?
I am unable to login and view anything.
I can get to the login, but once I type in my credentials and click to login, it goes to a blank screen.
Tried another computer, same issue.

What OS and webbrowser are you using?
I have no idea about your issue currently. Let me know things in detail.

Hello dear developer. What is your criteria for adding new coins to the pool? Can we see Zencash or Signatum in the future for example?

I add coins what miners requested.
Sorry I'm not fast.

Admin, miningpoolhub.  Any plans to add more scrypt coins?  I'd really like to point a couple L3+'s that way, but the coins you have are less than nicehash will buy from me Sad

Can you recommend specific Scrypt coins?

It switches when current mining coin's block is found.

Thanks. What do you mean different calculation?
You mean the expected earnings?

It's just 0.001 ETH.
It was 0.0005 ETH before.

Yeah TXFee is only applied to auto/manual withdrawal.
Auto exchange charges 0.2% additional fee though.

How's your hashrate showing at website? Can you check your miner rigs?

Currently last 24 hour's block percentage is 79% which means very lucky.

Adzcoin pool is already there.
Influxcoin pool was closed due to lack of interest and low trading volume.
Monetaryunit was so buggy that it forked its blockchain several times but dev didn't care.

I'll check other coins you requested.
Aurora and DGB-Scrypt seems promising

Yeah. I'll check. I already heard that Komodo is hot.

ADZ pool is already open.
I haven't tried mining... But it's there.

Coins that I'd like to see because they've been flirting with profitability are

SIGT

DMD(Groestl)

ORB(Neoscrypt)

DCR

LBRY

UBQ (ethhash)

Thank you for suggestion.
I need programmer who can help me. Busy these days.

It can take about maximum 1 hour to get alarm. It's intended to not false alarm.

Let me know your id if you haven't get notified still.

@mph
Please add ZEN!
It was asked so many times.

The coin itself is getting more and more popular every day, team is very active.
There are few other pools but I would like to mine on yours.

+1 for adding decred.

Almost everyone who mines dagger hashimoto on MPH also mines Decred in dual mode using another pool.
And most of that people would switch to MPH as soon as Decred will be available for mining.

I tried mining Zcoin, no matter what did I was only getting 50% of my actual speed and reward, only on this Zcoin subpool, other MPH pools work great 4 me.
used atest TP ccminer.

Mr MPH,

Can you please lower the update interval on the API so multipoolminer and similar software can work accurately and efficiently? The current (upto 30 minutes) refresh interval is just too long and causes issues with the calculation of the profitability of some of the coins. Moreover by providing a quicker refresh, multipoolminer in general (and also the users) would benefit from frequently updated (and therefore more accurate) data.

I know you are a busy bee but please prioritise this one. Wink

Thanks.

Same here. Half of my speed at Zcoin pool. I don't know why, but..
at DGB-GROESTL i have 1900 speed, pool only shows max only 1500.
So cleary pool works bad or dev take more fees..
At another pools like flypool, ethermine all OK.
So problems at pool side Angry

@MiningPoolHub

Please can you check that these algorithms are following the NiceHash stratum protocol to ensure compatibility with Excavator miner:
Equihash - NiceHash and Zpool works but MiningPoolHub does not
Lyra2re2 - NiceHash and Zpool works but MiningPoolHub does not
Ethash - NiceHash works but MiningPoolHub does not

Your Sia pool is also not compatible with anything but Claymore miners.

Hello? Are you able to read this? Guess what... the best miner ever created has arrived! https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases

@MiningPoolHub

Yesterday I sent by mistake a BURST of hashpower to 17023 which shows up on my worker's Zcash hashrate graph:

https://screencast.com/t/KiXFLKLmP

Unfortunately however it seems like I haven't been credited at all for this hashpower.

Is that normal?

I know that sending bursts is NOT the most efficient way of using pools, but getting NOTHING is not quite what I've expected.

Maybe you could elaborate a bit on what has happened there? That would help me a lot in better understanding how exactly your pool works.

Cheers!
