Pumping litecoin to 10 usd is a lot easier than pumping bitcoin to 500 usd so wait for the next wave...

I've been putting off picking up some more LTC ahead of the block reward halving. However, this may be a fair entry point.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Some of the posts on the first page are funny

So you didn't get in early enough on bitcoin? what is the point of this? At least some of the other currencies tried to do something different.

Quote
With a little hope, a little prayer, and a lot of hype due to our innovative release,

faster transactions and scrypt is innovative?

lemme hit you with a big ol book called a dictionary:

innovative [ˈɪnəˌveɪtɪv]
adj
using or showing new methods, ideas, etc.

One could be easily mistaken in thinking the coin was launched recently. 3 years later the responses are exactly the same.

I have made a new list with faucets ranked by profit/hr.
I check them regularly and remove faucets with popups or other annoying things.
There are not so much faucets for Litecoin, maybe you know a faucet which isn't listed.

Be calm, more money has been invested into Litecoin related mining hardware/industry than LTC's current market cap, it's only obvious that LTC will recover.

    no reason to go up

  no new tech

Which "new tech" does bitcoin provide then, yet it is the most succesfull and adopted, it's all about adoption and acceptance, tech can do only so much, crypto is 0's en 1's, all tech can be incorporated one way or another, but first the "new tech" has to proof itself...

There is no hard fork, which blog are you talking about?

There is a new updated wallet and its suggested that you upgrade as always.

Sigh

Where do these "reporters" get their news. No there is no hard fork.

Do you see hard fork on any other news sites? Something as significant as a hard fork for LTC would be blasted all over the place. It would be like Bitcoin hard forking.

I know thats why I was asking! And I dont think whoever wrote that has any insider info about a hardfork, so why would you post that crap

Of course I am, the who crypto ecosystem has been taking a beating on price within the last few days. It does not help Litecoin that it is essentially anchored to Bitcoins price.

Unfortunately LTC price is been affected in a bigger proportion than the drop for BTC, but youre right no reason to sell

I'm sure the speculators will have a field day during this years halving (in Oct).

However with that said, im not here to make money honestly. I have a deep desire and passion to get Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, etc adoption in the world because I believe it will help those less fortunate with remittances, instant money transfer between parties instead of using western union, charity fund raisers (there was an article I read where a charity in Africa who gets money from the US changes 6 hands, each one taking a cut, I believe it was the water project), and so on.
