An attacker could isolate a victim's node and cause the creation of blockchain forks.

Someone needs to "patch" the code.

That would only affect the "isolated node". A blockchain fork of litecoin would not affect the real main blockchain from what this sounds like.

As in the past a block chain fork the coins created would not be accepted (i.e. rejected) from the main blockchain.

Hello, so please somebody tell me if I can delete the files in %appdata%\Litecoin\database
Why the heck does it keep growing and occupies 33GB now? I have now 330 log.000000xxxx files each with 100MB size. Is this normal?

nope, my litecoin/database is like 150MB
but yes, there is many log.* files there.. but not like 33 GB Tongue
