this good project, but still less the item, if you want your currency to success, you should add some innovative thing like fork project, mine at start, sell, profit and more. if your project have it, i think you will success

Reading this post I dont feel it as a caution at all, I feel it more like a cataclysm that's about to come! I quess we all know the risks we take when we make an investment, but still, this one above doesnt really sound as an advice! |

I dont think you have to worry about that, I think it will recover. Many times LTC was about 0.01-0.012 BTC and then recovered a lot. But I'm concerned about Charlie's remark- a possible 90% dropping in 2018? I need to know why he said that, anyone, any info? |

i think Charlie is likely afraid of it happening again like it did twice in the past already. i think there's still a chance but I really do think crypto went a lot more mainstream and received a lot more institutional support this time around, so it's far less likely for everything to crash 90% again. The big companies are starting to see the value of blockchain and everyday people especially young people are really believing in it.
I don't blame him for being cautious though, until crypto has had a solid 2-3 year period with stability and no really major 60-70%+ crashes he probably won't be fully convinced yet about its maintained value and neither will I.
On another note the progress with lightning network atomic swaps is fantastic and really has potential to be game changing! im excited to see it all play out.

I mean if the whole crypto market crashes by 90% again that just means that more of us can become millionaires easier next time around. I mean imagine if BTC dropped to $400 tomorrow, I'd drop out of college and work three jobs while dumping 90% of my savings into that mofo. Why? Because BTC would hit 5K again, even if it took years the market would recover and BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR--all the big players with awesome devs--would be fine in the long run. In fact, crash, crash you inglorious bastard crash, I want to see the blood in the streets and the world on fire, we will rise from the ashes as we always have. (Just wait until mid way through 2018 plox, I still need to diversify a bit more to balance out a rookie portfolio from last year--waiting for long term capital gains.)

That's a really good point of view, thanks. So, it means every altcoin has this dropping probability, not only LTC ? Well, in the past years crypto market has gained many users and supporters, and that is still happening right now, more and more people are joining crypto and addopting this kind of investment. The only reason I see for crypto to drop and loose people interest is goverment pressures and eventually severe laws regarding crypto. |
