i think Charlie is likely afraid of it happening again like it did twice in the past already.  i think there's still a chance but I really do think crypto went a lot more mainstream and received a lot more institutional support this time around, so it's far less likely for everything to crash 90% again.  The big companies are starting to see the value of blockchain and everyday people especially young people are really believing in it.

I don't blame him for being cautious though, until crypto has had a solid 2-3 year period with stability and no really major 60-70%+ crashes he probably won't be fully convinced yet about its maintained value and neither will I.

On another note the progress with lightning network atomic swaps is fantastic and really has potential to be game changing!  im excited to see it all play out.

That's a really good point of view, thanks. So, it means every altcoin has this dropping probability, not only LTC ? Well, in the past years crypto market has gained many users and supporters, and that is still happening right now, more and more people are joining crypto and addopting this kind of investment. The only reason I see for crypto to drop and loose people interest is goverment pressures and eventually severe laws regarding crypto.

Thanks.  I'm not actually trying to make any predictions or anything I'm just logically assessing why he would think such a thing and these were the reasons I could come up with.  Government pressures could be crippling for sure, we never really know if they've got some sort of ace up their sleeves but there has also been a bit of a shift in crypto away from the whole overthrowing central banks idea, not completely of course, but notice how many great projects are coming up all over the place that are now searching for ways to integrate into the existing economy, helping to push crypto into more mainstream adoption.  Many projects now want to be completely transparent and ditch anonymity in favor of governmental compliance.

So even if governments have a crackdown on it, as we've already seen so far, they also understand that the innovation in this sector is amazing and imo probably won't stop innovation but curb it to match their philosophies.

This is mainly about platforms and apps etc... For currencies it's a bit of a different problem but I hope they will find a way to co-exist for a long time.

Always be prepared for a potential crash though, if the past has anything to teach us.

in the spring I wanted to buy LTC at $ 4 on $ 15,000, not able to believe that litecoin will remain at 4 because everything has increased 10 times, but no one was not sold on the fact that I wanted this and apparently shove ads. So I had two apartments and 4000 litecoin, and only one apartment and 900 litecoin, bought with the sale of the second apartment. But at least warms the soul the fact that now I bought litecoin at prices 13, also can't believe that the price will remain at this level))

@ Alevlaslo, I've got less than fifty LTC dude, be happy with your apparently immense wealth. We all make investment calls that we regret, I'd pretty happy if I were you even with only "4k LTC and two apartments"

Pretty annoying though, litecoin was moving with BTC up and down for awhile, then BTC breakouts, even Ripple breaksout and LTC flatlines. Should be back up past $88...

LTC is at least a $100 coin in the moderate future, don't worry it's just natural market fluctuations.

When pumps happen healthy corrections are always a good thing Smiley

Cause we like our leaders so so much!

We want to give all our money to them. This is the least thing we could do for our leaders.

We follow all our leaders, we follow and listen every their words, all their thoughts, all their works.

Our minds are perfectly influenced and subordinated.

In few words, we adore our leaders.

Maybe for Most people that but ltc several years ago.
But, almost every known local exchanger have local currency against ltc, and its alot easier to buy with fiat than btc, which you have paid the fee twice.

I predict LTC price next year will reach at least $ 100. and we still have a chance to get profit from LTC if we immediately invest now, I'd rather invest into altcoin because prices are skyrocketing and LTC is a good choice.

That is very realistic prediction for price to reach at $100 easily. It is at around $50 already and from here to be doubled isn't big thing. It has been there at 0.02 BTC once more and that can be repeated easily. When atomic swaps transactions will be between Bitcoin and Litecoin it will be back in center of attention.

I think 100 dollars is a normal expected growth by 2018. Litecoin is still struggling on its resistance. There is the possibility that we may break ath before 2017 ends but we may not touch 100 dollars. Here in crypto patience is badly needed.

That is my opinion too, I hardly can talk about any alt, not only LTC, in USD, and I dont use USD to buy LTC or other, I'm using Bitcoin! I only use USD when it comes to Bitcoin! About investors, I dont think that they lost that much buying LTC, only if they made the wrong choise to sell cheap, because when you decide to buy LTC you got to be a long term investor, as Litecoin is not pump and dump like other altcoins Smiley

Litcoin's price was 10% of the Bitcoin's price for long time. Keeping in mind that relation can understand the potential of expected growth when lightening transaction will be used widely. I also am focusing on this pair once again. Next year surely will be big for cryprto and Litecoin will gain lot of this too.
