I sent email the day after he announced his pay back plans and still havent received anything back. Is he only paying back people who sent PMs. I want to send a PM but he asked to not send duplicates. I dont understand why people who sent PMs after me, are already getting refunds.

Hey BTC-Arb,
Can you post an update on when we can expect the 2nd round of payments? I was hoping for something like 'Round 1: x out of n investors repaid'. I think this will help us see progress and resolve some more skepticism as it seems like your making more payments than people are posting and acknowledge they've received a payment. I don't think this would take much extra work on your end as I'm sure you have some spreadsheet tracking all this and you can just post it in your payments being made soon messages.
I think this will help with transparency and allow everyone to be patient, at least it will for me.

I think you're in for a little bit of a wait. I sent a pm and Email on 6/8. I haven't even been acknowledged yet, let alone a first payment or schedule. |

a. Some stupid person got my refund email shut down. Probably the same person who has been sending threats and attacking the refund process. I don't know why people are fighting the refunds. There is nothing to gain. Everyone will be paid back. If this was a scam I would not be here and would not have repaid more than 100 bitcoins so far.

That does raise a big red flag. <500 BTC total invested. 100 BTC already returned, means he's already refunded 20% of his obligation. At this rate he should be completely payed off in 8 more months. Some smaller accounts have been paid in full and from what I remember they were all <= .2 BTC. I could be missing something, and I'm not going back in the thread and re-reading every post. It just seems that the 100 BTC number sounds awfully large. Still patiently waiting for a reply to my new PM... |

You sent your e-mail about three weeks after he started accepting requests for refunds and considering his claim that the e-mail account was shut down, it's liable to take some time. I sent my PM the day he showed up on the forum and was the largest account holder to do so, at the time. At first, payments were being made pretty quickly (1 BTC every 2-3 days) but as more and more people started requesting refunds, it's slowed to a trickle. Especially since the markets are so stagnant. I went a month waiting for the last payment, which ended up being .25 Bitcoin. That was July 29th, almost two weeks ago. So it's gonna be real slow...but as long as I DO get paid back, I will live with it. |
