Guys, the devs never promised a new BTC to make everyone a millionaire. Look at the price now before continuing panicking.
Also, at this point you should be used to seeing big crashes and big rises. Here at cryptos we are living between bulls and bears. I don't really know what brings up such phrases as "the last one to leave turn off the lights, please".

It's day 3 on an exchange, what exactly were you expecting? A launch like SPA? Where value inflates to an unsustainable point and then crashes hard?

the team has completed an incredibly successful launch. The price is at .002!! You don't realize how much money that actually is to early adopters. People who mine today, will be glad in a month when its .02

could you please remind me the total amount of non-premined AIR right now? I cannot launch the wallet at the moment

edited: just found an answer, ~80k coins. So it is 160BTC total mined cap, or ~$1 million. Really not bad (though it doesn't have much buy supply, but I understand why), watching this with interest (and holding several hundreds of course )

It might be early, but it is looking like any other alt at the moment, peaks just after market opens followed by a steady decline. I'm not trolling, that is what it looks like.

Dumps are going to start soon and I'm not sure the magic algorithm can handle it, it's not coping with small dumps at the moment.

But, at the end of the day, there is no volume at all and this is the real problem, we need to get word out. The message needs to be simple for this, rather complicated, coin.

Calm down people, the overall market for Altcoins are pretty slow lately. Many popular coins are displaying a downward trend. It's only a matter of time it bounce back up.

I guess many are dumping altcoins so that they can make a quick investment on SpainCoin. Don't know how long Spaincoin will last, but auroracoin is now in a pretty bad downward spiral.

From my understanding of it, Aircoin is designed to be merchant friendly because the AirTeam's function is to stabilize the value (or prevent rapid decline) of the coin overtime.

That way, the merchant can have the confident of using and holding the coin in a long run than just convert them to fiat like what overstock.com do.

I think the current small volume and fluctuation is a good way to test Aircoin's investment pool's capability.

To be honest I don't think we are ready for prime time yet and an increase in volume and price may overwhelm the AirTeam.

The dumpers may be miners who need to recover then equipment/electricity costs, so that's understandable as no one wants to get screwed short term. But the success of this coin requires a long process that requires patience and vigilant.

Sorry, I digressed.

Thanks. One of the things that jumps out at me about this coin is that it is being clearly mareketed as an investment. Notwithstanding that it may have uses in the market place.
The more I think about it the more my main concern is that by marketing it as an investment they may run foul of the authorities.
I wonder can one of TeamAir explain what they understand their legal situation is.
Is it ok in the United States to call AIR an investment?

I have to echo sentiments about this being more of a long-term investment than a quick buck. Crypto needs to regulate pricing to survive in a real world where stability is expected. I see a lot of long-term value in this coin, and anyone getting AIRCoin at around 0.00150 is getting a bargain. Altcoins have dived around the board at the moment - they'll pick up. No need to panic sell and drive the price down further. I'm definitely holding this one.

I largely agree, my problem is that I broke two of my own trading/mining rules for this coin and have paid a heavy price (at the moment), just can't stop kicking myself
