I think ive found the issue with the wallet and i've pmd logs to the dev hopefully linux wallet will be fixed soon for everyone

care to share ?
from the logs. it seems as though it keeps getting stuck on blocks making it stop responding at all. e.g. in my debug log right before it crashed along with the pool. there were atleast 100 lines saying getblock with the same blockhash.

Wipe everything in the app data apart from wallet.dat and resync. it stopped mine from crashing.

Just for fun I thought I would Solo this with some low hash power.

I have 1 block erupter, 2 jalepenos and 1 single solo mining on this.

Within about 4 minutes I hit a block Grin LOL. Talk about being on the right side of the bell curve.

Is there a GPU miner for groestl ??
no.. only cpu...
p.s. more exactly is groestl+sha256 )))

Hmm there are rumors groestl GPU is in use .. This is the only so called 'CPU' algo ?  Dev should have included at least one 100% CPU algo - Primecoin algo.

there are rumors of XPM GPU miner Smiley

Nope, only rumors. The one that actually works is way slower than CPU
