Yes, I agree that 2018 is a bad year for cryptocurrencies. a long fall in the market caused the withdrawal of investors from the market and the fall in the popularity of cryptocurrency. and the fall hasn't stopped yet.

Yes, it is not. This year is going to end with a lot of drama. From the first month of this year to today, the crypto market changed its nature a lot of time. A lot of people was hoping for a bull run in August, and the August month is ending! I don't have that hope that bitcoin can overcome the 10K USD in this year. That is right manipulation is here. Big boys who rule the world are in the crypto space. They want our bitcoin at a very cheap price. They want profits and keep fudding around while investing or creating investing platforms for masses. I think the market will less probably make a return this year. Maybe after ETF is accepted by SEC. Then we will experience the massive bull run ever again. But for the time being alts might crash more, after BTC might flasch crashes. Better to stay in BTC for now although I am 100% in alts.

You are right. This year is not prosperous for BTC and that is so upsetting and frustrating. I think due to scams market get so much manipulated this year. This year ico projects with scams were many.

I hate seeing the value of my portfolio go down but I guess this is just what happens in markets.  The good projects will survive and the price will go back up and the garbage will not.  Probably good for the health of the industry long-term

this can be natural selection. that way we will know which coins are really good.
I think this decline is something that I think makes sense because if you look at the price of crypto the previous year also experienced something like this so I prefer to use this condition to buy coins that I think are good. maybe next year the price can rise again so that the long term is very suitable in current conditions.

This year is totally normal. Massive bitcoin climb so obviously massive bitcoin crash down, however it still up 100% from this time last year which is very good and a very good sign that we could be seeing a nice bull run in November - December to 30k - 50k

For those who are in early in this space knows this is normal and there's nothing to worry about as of now.

For those that are kind of new then it's probably making them paranoid that the market will collapse which is most likely not going to happen in my opinion.

2018 looks like very bad year for crypto but from the other point of view it is a great opportunity to buy your favorite coins at very low prices.
