Interesting. I hope that will push quite some pressure on the current alt development. And I hope that would help to create the new paradigm for coin devs: either you are truely innovative, or you are out of the market. As I am quite fed up with zillions of copy-paste coins flooding the world.

Very true. I get emails about twice a week about yet another ICO on YoBit. "Get 'em while you can!" And now the forum is being flooded with the YoBit signature campaign trolls getting paid dust per post. Does anyone really stop and think about what exactly is the purpose and the goings on behind the scenes of these ICOs? Well, the purpose is to make those quick enough to get in and get back out a little bit of profit. Then there are the suckers who get in too late and lose a lot when the inevitable dump and price crash happens. It happens that way every single time, yet people still fall for it.

And where are these ICO coins coming from? There is no information on them. There are no innovation brought to the scene by them. They are just as you described them... copy/paste. It really is silly when you think about it. Go onto YoBit and see the list of coins they have. I have never even heard of about 90% of them.

Thinking about this IBM news, this is actually very good for crypto in general. It's like crypto, but it's not. The best part of it is that it should put a stop to fake rumours about various big corps "investing" in one coin or another.

Crypto has it's own niche, it's not made to replace things, it was made to create a new economy. - More and more labour intensive jobs are being phased out by robotics, just as agriculture motorisation liberated 80% of the population from having to plow fields with oxen and horses for days on end and harvest just as long. People will need new jobs and we really don't need more lawyers.

BTC holds stable every month.
ZEIT earns 5% a year.

At us in banks profitability on deposits makes about 10% a year. I had a contribution under 16% a year. However, there is one BUT - we have an inflation much more than 16% a year. If to take dollar cost in comparison with rubles, for 3 years the dollar rose in price for 200% concerning ruble. I cost ruble 40 USD 80 USD now

Here in the US, our interest rate is < 1% for savings accounts, 2 year CDs are only hitting 1½%,
You can still get some utility stocks that pay ~5% per year , like communications & energy.
However the US economy continues to weaken due to lack of jobs, even Walmart has started closing locations.

ZEIT has got ~9 more months of 15% harvest rate, before we drop to the final 5%, so we will be a competitor with Utility stocks.  
ZEIT's price will rise in the future, can not say the same for US Utility stocks, since our Gov & Corporate elite are devastating our Middle class.

The longer the Federal Reserve postpones NIRP, and other countries implement it, you will probably see a propping up of the US$ compared to other currencies as the wealthy move funds to countries with the least damaging NIRP.
Once the US also begins NIRP , commodities like Gold, Silver,  & Cryptos will see an influx of capital like something out of the US roaring 1920s as a safe haven for their wealth.
Cryptos win on the ease of use and sell-ability over the others hand down.

Ok, try this
This Friday the 26th, everyone that uses bittrex and wants ZEIT on it.
Ask 1 time in their chat box to add ZEIT to their exchange,
and send 1 email to their support and ask them to add ZEIT to their exchange.
If enough people do it they may take notice.
After that it is up to bittrex, as nothing is stopping them from adding ZEIT.

In the meantime, you have Cryptopia & SouthXchange & Yobit
and alcurEX (once we get the confirmations issue fixed)

Congrats on listing.

It actually isn't hard to get a coin listed on Bittrex, will need to check but I think 0.2btc to pay, it could be 1btc and has to have 0.2 btc a day volume.

Trouble is that neither Poloniex nor Bittrex want 1-2 satoshi market coins. Last one was DogeDark, but we know now why .. ahem Verge.

I have a question about the install with bootstrap, my laptop has been at it for over 48 hours now, is this normal? The ltc client synced from 0 to 100% within 48 hours without bootstrap

Is something going wrong, or is this normal?
