I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  

The best way to do is to hodl your Bitcoins until it reaches your desired price or value because if you sell it now you'll surely lose a lot of money and that pretty frustrating especially when you invest a lot of money. And it is better to stop looking at Coinmarketcap from time to time because it will not help you at this time, you'll just get depressed seeing the market right now. I think you learned some lessons from now that you should invest only the money that you afford to lose and invest at your own risk.

When you loss, expect that you will learn from it. When you learn, expect that you will gain from your loss. That's how life should be, we need to lose first before we learn. I know that next time, we will become aware of when we enter or quit in trading perhaps, I am also trying to reverse my trading strategy so that I gain also.

That's is learning in a hard and frustrating way.

Yes, many crypto members bought BTC token when it's price $20k. And they will nothing to do. I think bitcoin will grow again in the spring of 2019 Like last year. Always remember, Buy low sell high. And don't buy pump coins. Now you can only wait and hope that the market will recover.

Whenever you're buying buy coins directly without any middleman. If you were buying BTC directly from the market you still would have 4.5 BTC that can be worth a lot more next year.

On you're next investment. Do a research by your own. Trust your analyze and your feeling that makes you trade on first place. Invest only that much that you can afford to loose. If you're not day trading than leave the investment and forget about it for some time. Stop being scared and relax.

If you are scared meaning you don't trust your analyze, feeling and that will results in loss in a long term.

Bitcoins will most likely get back and above last all time high again. I don't think the Bitcoin history are ending here, we will see 40k and 60k bitcoins in the years to come. It is a long way off from its current price of 6000$,like two-third of your portfolio eroded,  it is not as bad as it would have been if you had been holding most altcoins, most are upto 90% down from their all-time highs. You could wait a while longer as bitcoin will eventually rise and give you some ROI
