I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh

This is very sad because you should not buying bitcoin when the price is rising, buy it when the price is dropping, like now.
If you trying to chase the hype, then you are not different from speculators. Real investor buying from the dips.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

if you risk something you don't understand, you will suffer losses. You have to learn a lesson from this

Are you still holding your bitcoins? Smiley If you still have patience, I think there's no harm to keep holding them. Bitcoin is bitcoin. What I mean here is, it could go up again to more than $20K, there's no doubt about it. Only the question is... when will it happen again Smiley

I regret what you did at the end of last year, with this action you are now experiencing a huge loss, because the price is currently only 6k

why regret that you received an invaluable experience? Do not sell your bitcoins now at a very low price because you will fix the loss and lose your money. remember until you sold nothing - you did not lose anything and did not win. sell bitcoin at a price higher than 20k (and it will necessarily cost more than 20k, believe me) and you will get very good at this while getting a very good life lesson about the fact that you do not need to invest your funds when the wave of the HYIP has already reached the end

Don't worry. The majority of BTC holders are bullish long term. I'm also bullish and think although you bought at ath this will not matter as in the end it will be even higher  Wink

Everyone who ever bought bitcoins cut be in your situation, bitcoins are known for its many bull runs and it's endless crashes. Your are not the first who bought bitcoins just to see your investment lost 70 or 80 % this happens in bitcoins and in crypto currency in general.
I think you should keep holding your bitcoins, the price will must likely go up to an new all time high again, and that might even happen this year, if everything goes correct for bitcoins, we might even see John macafee bet come through.

I feel you bro, don't be hesitate that your decision is wrong. We all know that the price of bitcoin now is part of being a crypto currency. Means the value of bitcoin now is too low than last year but we are all hoping that someday it will grow again and that is the best part of having a bitcoin. Just trust bitcoin and it will not disappoint you.

Sorry for your loss, but clearly there were plenty of warnings that it was a super-inflated bubble......

Sorry for your loss, but you already lost your btc why buy again at the highest rate? You should know when is the right time to buy bitcoin. I know its absurd to say dont worry because you already lost that much. You do your part, you risk your money, now is the time to have faith in bitcoin or else you'll loose more.

Anyone who is in a position as you experience, will surely regret it. But you should make it as a lesson that everything must be well thought out and do not follow emotions that ultimately cause regret. My advice should not be patient waiting for the increase in bitcoin prices that might give you profits or at least reduce the level of losses you are experiencing right now.

That's what I did after the crazy bull run September to December, cashed it all out. My fiancee said half, I did all of it - good move too, now I just am bemused, maybe slightly disappointed about everything crashing. If I had left everything in, I would be depressed.

We should aim for a bigger target, IMO. The level that you are talking about ($20,000 per coin) was already achieved once. The next target should be $50,000 per coin, or at least $25,000 per coin.

My friend, I think you must be very patient in these moments when the market is going through a major correction, but you must be sure that sooner or later you will not only be able to recover your investment, but you will surely multiply it x5 or x10, since I I have no doubt that it is only a matter of time to see the bitcoin at levels so high that today we can not even imagine.  Wink

Well, we all knows that investing in Crypto currency is a risky thing because of the price is really unpredictable but there is no investments of today that have no risks so we must really careful in talking of scam projects and about the ATH price, we have 3 months left before the predicted bullish so let's extend our patience as i think that the uptrend price movement is going to start.

you are a brave person and you deserve to get your grades back. at least don't sell for now. wait until the price is recovered. when last year almost everyone sold when bitcoin went up to the moon, but you actually bought it. but when the market crashes, of course you don't want to lose right? therefore, hold for the long term.

If you truely believes on what bitcoin is really capable of then you should not regret buying at that rate. But then again lets be practical, you bloody lose a hefty amount of money and as an investor it was a tragedy. May you recover from it soon.
Dont lose hope. Just believe on it brother.
