I've been asked a few times why even the smallest odds difference matters for me when I gamble. I'm not a professional gambler, nor do I spend a lot on gambling, but when it comes to sports, I feel there is an obvious difference. For me it's just a practical choice to choose the bookie that gives me the most returns, even if I don't gamble much.
So I'm starting a thread to track actual bets I made, comparing odds with what most regard to be the best Bitcoin sportsbook! Since odds can change over time, I thought it would be fair to try make the comparisons at the same time, within 2 minutes of each other. So I will refresh the competitor odds as soon as I place my bet.
I should mention: no intention to beat down any bookie here. I'm also not paid to do this, just want to show in the interest of a bit of gambling discussion.
For each bet, I'll display the odds advantage in percentage (my odds/closest competing odds) with a link to my betslip. I'll also update a running units advantage, based on an assumption that every bet is made with 100 units, to further show why even a small odds advantage can translate to bigger winnings over time.

Edit on 22 September 2018. Adding
BetKing and
NitrogenSports as odds comparisons. Possibly adding BetKing to make bets, as they appear to have better odds on some lines with
BitcoinRush.

Edit on 11 October 2018. I have been making bets in terms of units, on a starting bankroll of 0.1 BTC, where 1 unit = 0.00001 BTC/1,000 satoshi. Each bet is typically made with 1% of starting bankroll and a personal max of 3%, so you will see they are 100 units (0.001 BTC). At 20% profit or loss, I will adjust the unit rate up or down. [Edit 29 May 2019]. I ended up not adjusting the bets at all and keeping to 1% of original bankroll of 1 mBTC/0.001 BTC/100,000 satoshi. Too difficult to remember and do up decimals to be honest!
==> Most current odds update (September 2020).
Bitcoinrush is dead.
Betcoin no longer seems competitive but has the lowest juice.
Sportsbet is worthwhile for parlays because of boosts and free insurance.
Fairlay still has best ML long odds.
FortuneJack has occassional promos related to Football so always worth a punt.
Nitrogen no longer features in comparisons as will always have higher margins, while
Betking has stopped its sportsbook.

FortuneJack lines have become terrible after their update.
Fairlay continues to have the best longshot odds, however, min bets are now 1mbtc ($30). Completely unsuited to my thread where we use small outlays for big returns.

Edit 6 Jun 2024. SEASON 6 has ended with
29.9% loss and all full statistics can be found

Sportsbet continues to have the best odds on longshots, thanks to price boosts.
Fairlay is due for an update so I might return to it next season. Min bets of 1 mbtc ($70) make them unsuited to this thread.
