My guns out for a Liverpool win. Arsenal were one of our draws last season, but this time it's at Anfield, let's hope both teams' forms are maintained. Spurs will want to make full use of Son before he leaves for AFC, so a win for them as well should be guaranteed. If not, Liverpool profit, so win-win.

But that parlay isn't even 2/1, so I'll back a Wolves upset at Wembley instead. And why not? They've been at the Big 6's throats all season long and Spurs look lightweight sometimes.

Lovely night of football all around. Liverpool cementing their position and Wolves giving us the 2-goal comeback we needed to win the underdog bet, and THEN some. Wish I'd backed underdogs more often recently, though the way I bet, I probably should be thankful I don't make it too much of a habit

So we get a healthy recovery to our bankroll, and can look forward to the Red's next match with City (where we are a tantalising > 3/1 to win!). A bit of a strange night last night. Chelsea couldn't get unstuck and then we had some really high-scoring draws, but Crystal Palace showed us why beating City wasn't that much of a fluke at all. Sure, they drew blanks in their next game against Cardiff, but they did register 31 shots so were unlucky. They weren't as unfortunate at Wolves last night, so good for them.

Tonight, only 1 match matters, and I'll just take the 1 bet. Liverpool are not fancied by the bookies at all and actually odds have been climbing slightly every day since last week. Suits me just fine!

Liverpool will want to win to put 10 points betwixt them and City, who, let's be honest are the only real challengers for top spot. Spurs look like it on table but they are just too flimsy near the finish line and will lose their lucky charm Son to Asian football. Chelsea as they showed last night can't score if Hazard isn't 100% (and needed Kante to win 1-0 last game). Arsenal themselves don't believe they can get 1.

Heart broken because Liverpool is my team. I never said City didn't deserve to win, kudos for them playing the way they did, switching styles for the 3 points and Pep outfoxing Klopp, but that's got nothing to do with how my heart breaks;) It's been breaking ever since I started following them really, but sometimes the memories are worth all the shattered pieces;)

Wow. If I'd picked the opposite sides last night, would have been a 10/1 parlay. Both 2-1 victories for the less fancied team. Made a correction to yesterday's parlay, I'd typed out the wrong team (but bets were right). Qatar gave us the wins on both parlays, but credit to Uzbekistan for overcoming an incredible attacking performance from Oman, they defended like hell and got themselves a red card but well worth the 3 points. And oh, thanks to Real for finally getting an easy win.

Today is a really exciting tie up between Jordan, who's just smashed and grabbed Australia, and Syria, who missed a chance to win their opener against Palestine. Very disappointing for the Syrians, unable to score in the first 2 games, and arguably the toughest team left in the group (Australia) as their opponent. Perhaps I've been dismissing Jordan too unfairly too, would have made over 15/1 had I backed them from the beginning. Now Syria must beat Australia, and somehow hope Palestine draw or win... and still need to rely on other results.

Nevertheless, the Thais won a hard-fought match under a new coach, so we were in profit and they're in this with a big shout.

I'll do a parlay from English Championship, backing Leeds to make their case for promotion stronger with a win against Derby (we miss you at the Premiership, Leeds). I'll parlay against friendlies for German teams Dortmund and Schalke 04 - without pressure, they should win comfortably.
