Wow. USA only won 2-0 but it was actually murder on the pitch last night. I knew the Dutch had nowhere the depth of the Americans, but still they're reigning European champions and they were just too far behind in quality.

On the other hand, our friendly pick won. India actually finished at HT 2-0... so I thought I'd lost that bet. Couldn't find any commentary but Tajiks found a way to score FOUR in second half, so we got ourselves a nice tidy win.

I have to hate myself sometimes!

Got the first parlay totally wrong, backed the wrong upset. And the second parlay my Armenian underdog won (in all honesty courtesy a silly red card from the opponent made it easier) but Suduva held on for the draw amazingly.

Nigeria broke me heart, but Senegal had such a tough time getting over the line, even Mane was frustrated towards the end. Good to see my boy in the Semis now though, and I suppose Nigeria always deserved a place after the improvements since the opening matches.

But boy did Tajikistan play, Syria's having a really poor run of form since WC qualifiers, and after them winning against DPRK, they'll feel really down about this. But glad we got on the right end of that upset!

Damn DPRK.
