WTB!!! 888 = 0.001 BTC!!! LOL now the scammer wants to pretend to buy his own scam coins... oh dear... what an obvious scam it all turns into. oh well make another coin guys try to scam a little less next time. i triple dog dare you to make your next post in this thread without using the word "scam". try it. i bet you can't. cryptohunter, you are officially now labled "THE WORST" in this thread, and i'll remember to take all your future posts in other threads with a massive grain of salt, more akin to a horse's saltlick. but then again, you are scaring away honest miners, which means that i'm now mining a larger piece of the pie, so part of me wants to thank you and congratulate you. oh what a devious plan that would be, so enter a thread screaming that the sky is falling, only to get bigger mining profits for yourself. because i HIGHLY doubt that anyone spending so much time in a thread like this, (who is showing a level of caring about this coin which is higher than anyone else i've seen post here...)WOULDN'T be mining the coin. i mean they'd have to be a sociopath otherwise... It's a triple dog dare, I'm at the edge of my seat.

The only potential issue with the source are file permissions on the directory after unzipping without specifying attributes - chmod 777 -R on the directory will resolve any permission-related building issues. We will be updating GitHub shortly which will have the correct file attributes if cloned. We are dealing with pool operators at a variety of skill levels - if you requested to have your pool added, we added it. We could have given you a quiz first to ensure you were up to the challenge but that's part of what makes a launch so exciting - it's a goldrush. Everybody was in the same boat dealing with the same issues - nobody had any major advantages. Solo miners likely came out of this in the worst shape as they weren't getting work fast enough early - that's why I urged people not to solo mine and to create accounts at multiple pools for backup. We had a few DDoS attacks on pools/nodes but other than that the problems the pools are experiencing are due to the inability to handle the traffic. We had over 1 Gh/s on the network within 10 minutes and, with the low starting difficulty, blocks were being found faster than the servers could handle. Now that things are settling down and network speed is being spread across more pools, we are experiencing fewer issues. The pools will be able to re-enable statistics shortly, I'm sure. If you have ever been around for a high-profile launch, there are often issues with pools/etc in the early stages - sometimes physics simply gets in the way. Also, the high-profile launch attracted DDoS attacks at FusionHash and the main OctoCoin nodes - in my opinion, these were handled quite well, considering. We aren't even 2 hours into the launch here and there are thousands of 888 OctoCoin blocks still out there - things will only get better from here.

I know, first post and uploading a wallet. I know that's usually a red flag. Just trying to make the launch a little more interesting. Hopefully this gets appreciated in the end. OSX Wallet, 10.6 - 10.9 / 32bit Compatible: https://mega.co.nz/#!BRJmkYiK!_SUWxyy0yFCKwK-sRA4KZ-gNc9WQptpJhLxQOE94jPwAccepting 888 donations as appreciation: 8LXEAESZN2BT5qUf9xEKp1nFixLjSST82w P.S. Mining on freebtc.eu:8888 P2Pool, and getting coin deposited roughly ~5min....

DUDE STFU you call EVERY single pool at EVERY launch a scam that doesn't pay out instantly. You pull this shit in every single thread you post in. You are a scumbag noob and the worst kind of miner in the community.
