New Android miner does not work .Dear developers, I conclude: you did shit. lobbying the interests of powerful manufacturers I was immediately taken out of contention, which means that I told the truth old device samsung GT-P5100 - miner does not work ASUS ZE551ML (Intel atom) - miner does not work Do developers want me to buy a new phone? and probably desirable S9+ I have a new phone (iphone). But I do not even want to raise the issue of production on iPhones, because the developers of this will never be able to do in their lives.
What an odd post. When this is a users first post on here, I would hope other people reading it would take it with a pinch of salt. This is absolutely not the place to ask for help; come to the discord and speak to the dev's in person :S What architecture is that atom? "This will currently only work on devices with ARM64 architecture."Did you read this on the miner release page on github? I think that CPU is x86, no? In which case, you need to use one of the other miners that supports that architecture. For the rest of the community reading this; we are all here to help over on the official discord. This release has been immensely successful, and we'd all love to hear your feedback/questions Mine to the moon! Yes, confirmed troll No doubt he's trolling but the question is why would someone create a brand new BitcoinTalk account and he's first and only post would be a troll exactly on such a game changing invention? Before yesterday lots of the people didn't even believe it would be made, probably considering the fact that other projects with a mcap of over 900.000.000 $ at their peak made only an airdrop disguised in a mobile miner. I wish you only great achievements just like this for the future !

Dmitry129, please join the Discord and provide this info directly to the devs. They might be able to help you or atleast give you an insight what are the system requirements for Android mining. Keep in mind that some very old devices with slow CPUs are not even considered as their power is too low. "I was immediately taken out of contention"- I can't write there anymore that's why I signed up here - is it really hard to understand on what basis did they call me troll on what grounds have I been removed from discord

But if you want to use it on an IPHONE it will not work.To make you understand why is like trying to use a petrol car on diesel or vice-versa. But if you want to troll you can say that you also have an old desk telephone from 1960's and you also want to mine on that. I thought u are only a troll but now I think you have an agenda and looks like you will keep on coming. I've seen this before on BTC years ago where people like you were saying is not good. But unfortunately for you this community is very unite and will stand its ground.

8 hours of straight mining on my P20 Pro, and all is well - phone is stable, not too hot no drama to report! Great work guys! I also have 6 hours on Mate 20 and S7 and works like a charm. NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM. P. S. Of course we have a drama queen here that will scream he can't mine on a rotary dial telephone so this project is "lobbying the interests of powerful manufacturers". I won't be surprised if he will continue this by pointing a finger at email for making the telegraph and fax machines obsolete and finally led to the disappearance of the mail coaches.

Can you believe that from now on, every Mining Calculator will have boxes not only for CPU / GPU / ASIC but also for MOBILE DEVICES ? I wouldn't have imagined that this could ever be possible... And still I can't imagine how many paths will be opened only because this was invented.
Also imagine mining on your car navi / tv / refrigerator /... Sky is really the limit from now on !

Are there any plans to allow the pool to be changed on the android miner?
Right now you'll be mining on PoolBux with Fruitypool as a backup. I believe the plan to to load balance miners across all the uPlexa pools, once there is enough mobile mining traffic.

Is this supposed to be an anonymous blockchain powered by IoT or is it the other way around and it is IoT powered by a blockchain?
It's an anonymous blockchain that has an IoT viable algorithm (allowing for the release of things like today's miner) IoT viable algorithm, I have to think about and study that term as I can't come up easily with the opposite. Which algorithm for example is not viable for IoT?

It's an anonymous blockchain that has an IoT viable algorithm (allowing for the release of things like today's miner) IoT viable algorithm, I have to think about and study that term as I can't come up easily with the opposite. Which algorithm for example is not viable for IoT? It's viability mainly comes from the ASIC-resistant nature of the project, and the steps the team have taken to ensure small miners stay relevant. For example, the uPlexa team already have an emergency fork ready, should anyone develop a compatible ASIC - one which they can deploy in hours, rather than months. On top of that (and I'm not a developer, so they may chime in here), I believe the algo used is 'kinder' on low powered devices (half iterations from the original Cryptonight iirc). The main note from the project thus far, is that we're actually seeing delivery of these promises, and when we're surrounded by projects that simply don't deliver, I think that has to be a reason to show an interest

For reference I mined 94 uplexa after 24 hours, using my P20 Pro Pretty good! Noice! I have the same phone, but have not had it running for 24 hours yet. I've got a load of old handsets that I'm going to fire up next week.

Such an underrated project. Is there any plans for hiveOS support?
There's no hiveOS yet, although uPlexa is included within the latest versions of XMRig-CC (which allows easy control over many miners, live hiveOS). A few of us will look at it over the next week!

Well done, guys! I can see it's had an immediate impact on price and hash rate....let the fun begin! Any idea when the m.cap will show up? I can see that none of the new coins have it, so it must be pretty standard. Yeah, it'll update within a week. I know they're documentation states that they sometimes require 3 exchanges, but I've seen this with pretty much every new listing.
