As i understood correctly you mooved in Defi section instead of making original idea? Because at the beginning you planned to make exchange which connects traditional financial market with cryptocurrencies, but now i don't  see any info about exchange?

We were doing DeFi, before it was named DeFi, we were actually a part of initial group in TG back in the beginning of 2019.

Anyway, our initial position stands - we want to have a platform to trade any financial asset and to be able to interconnect those assets to make them interoperable (borrow/pay/exchange one for another). And that is exactly what we are doing. Today Synthereum (Synthetic Protocol) allows exchanging any synthetic assets for another one (currently Kovan beta supports: EUR, GBP, CHF, Gold, Silver, S&P500), and the plan for the future is to use these assets to borrow money.

Exchange is still here and you can "play-around" to see how it works (you can mint/redeem/exchange): https://kovan.jarvis.exchange/exchange

Also at the same time, we are developing scalable trading, with our Margin trading protocol (Margineum) which already allows you to trade Forex and Indexes (stocks will be added soon) from a single USDC deposit (the protocol is already on mainnet, however, it is still in closed beta). After the main launch, we will add more assets to the list.

So technically, yes, we moved to DeFi but our initial position stands - bridge legacy and digital finance to the people together with superb UI and UX.

The link to exchange that you gave does not work right now. Is this is test mode now only? And when fully working exchange will go live? Why don't you have info about exchange in your ropadmap?

To test the exchange you need a browser wallet like metamask and you need to switch to the Kovan testnet (its only on a testnet for now). The plan is to release in Q4 the vague roadmap is on our website jarvis.network (however we need to update it). You can get more info on the exchange in our latest article here: https://medium.com/jarvis-network/synthereum-vision-and-roadmap-e334bc055fbb

Try arbitraging with Jarvis Exchange

We decided to do some testing on Kovan to showcase arbitrage between Synthereum and Uniswap thanks to Sythereum’s unique feature: synthetic assets are redeemable by their exact value in USDC.
To do so, we listed our synthetic EUR, CHF, GBP, XAU (Gold), XAG (Silver), XTI (Oil) and SPX (S&P500) against USDC on Unswap Kovan, and sked our community to provide liquidity and to try to push the prices on Uniswap as close as possible to the real prices of said assets through arbitrage. So far, the community succeeded to maintain a strong peg on all the assets.

This experiment also highlights how much profit an arbitrageur can make, as well as how much fees could be collected by the liquidity providers on Uniswap and Synthereum, and of course by the DAO.

To participate:
1. Switch your Metamask to Kovan Test Network
2. You can get some ETH and USDC directly from kovan.jarvis.exchange or if you want more USDC use Aave faucet testnet.aave.com
3. Follow the Uniswap price of Gold, Oil, SP500 or EUR
4. If Uniswap price > Jarvis price = mint on Jarvis Exchange and sell it on Uniswap, and vice versa

Here is a handy sheet that will help you to calculate how much you need to buy/sell: http://bit.ly/drive_Jarvis_arb

Great improvement from you will help the community to keep faith in the Jarvis platform, due you have any specific date about the Jarvis exchange when you are going to launch. Every week I am seeing some specific improvements from your side and this makes the community kept a lot of interest towards your project.

With Jarvis Exchange you will be able to mint/redeem/exchange synthetic assets as well as other ERC20, as it will be powered by paraswap. So to some extent, it will be like uniswap.

As for Demo, you need to change network from "main ethereum network" to "Kovan test network" at the top of your metamask window next to account button.

Do you mean mint/redeem/exchange synthetic assets as like as Gold, Silver, shares etc?  When the fully-working exchange will go live? Do you have any plans how to attract institutional investors to your exchange?

Yes, synthetic assets that track the price of real assets like Gold, Silver, Oil, Forex currencies, and ultimately shares (but shares are a bit tricky and it might take some time). We plan to launch this December with several major currency pairs and will add more options along the line.

As for attracting institutional investors:

1. Institutional investors have shown interest in being liquidity providers and to do arbitrages, not necessarily to use the platform for speculation.

2. Yet, more and more institutional investors are coming into DeFi, so one day they may use us for speculative purpose.
