X16RT algo is not listed in nicehash/hashtap.
could anyone let know how to rent hash or what to do when this algo is not listed in popular hash rental sites.
(For me mining from home is not possible now ).

For the project, I wish that the launch day will be implemented as soon as possible next year, when mining tools are available for both AMD and NVIDIA in order to have a truly fair launch.

As we've opened testing to public, we're getting a lot of feedback on bugs for various OS/system configurations—we only have what hardware is available to us plus virtual machines, so this kind of feedback is really important. While most of these are small there have been some bigger bugs to squash. We're doing all we can to have things ready to go by Jan 1, but we'd hate to leave some people out in the cold for launch because Veil isn't agreeing with their hardware or OS. We'll of course be letting everyone know as soon as we do if a further delay is necessary.

If a further delay is necessary to get a fair launch, I support it! just let us know

There is no such a thing, it is not fortunate to start if the team has not fixed everything that they wanted to fix. And if they're pushing the start to that date because they wanted to fix every problem, for me that is more fortunate instead of unfortunate.
the date is not a problem, but the system is. Of course, everybody has a different kind of mindset and personality.

I think we will need to just stick to our own GPUs for the moment.

This is good for better distribution because in the end this is what X16RT algo is going for, to avoid centralization (asic mining).

Cool sounds good. I'll keep an eye out for any announcements to see if it will be ready to go for 1 Jan. If not, extending by a week or so probably won't matter too much - some people are probably away for the holidays so could even prefer a delayed start!

1st of January might be a launch day, just a probability and it has still depended upon development pace of AMD  miner.
Let's see what will happen on 1st January 2019.

Im mining on suprvova.cc right now with Suprminer 2.0. My GTX 1080 grabbed 2000 Veil in about 12 hours. I just wish i had a wallet to send the coins too. right now i have it set to an 8000 max before auto payout in hopes a wallet will be available soon.
