Hey Pon13. This command takes from your basecoin only. There is a different console command for sending zerocoins.

You can use the following command:

spendzerocoin <amount> <mintchange> <minimizechange> <security level> <address>

• amount = Amount to spend.
• mintchange = Input true if you want to re-mint any leftover change, input false if not.
• minimizechange = Input true if you want to minimize returning change, input false if not.
• security level = Amount of checkpoints to add to the accumulator. We have been recommending a value of 42 for this, but you can increase it to 100 max. Note that the more checkpoints there are, the longer the minting process takes.
• address = If basecoin address, funds will arrive in basecoin. If stealth address, funds will arrive in CT.

To simplify, we recommend the following:

spendzerocoin <amount> false true 42 <address>

- Quicker recognition of orphans and forks.
- Denomination filter when using spendzerocoin rpc. Allows the user to specify a specific zerocoin denomination to spend with. For example if someone wants to 10 denoms into 100's they would want to apply a 10 filter.
- Stake miner will not stall if it is "close enough" to the chain tip.
- Reduce stake miner's tendency to produce redundant stakes.

Basecoin Veil addresses start with "bv". Stealth Veil addresses start with "sv". Your Veil being in Basecoin means it is in a Basecoin address. Right now the two currently available exchanges require Basecoin Veil addresses, which you can generate in Settings> Advanced Options> Console tab> enter: getnewbasecoinaddress

About connect to your wallet, do you mean you are having trouble finding peers? If so you may have to update your wallet. Please make sure you have the latest wallet here: https://github.com/Veil-Project/veil/releases

The thread is doing fine . We also use other platforms like Discord which relatively have quite a bit more activity. Things should pick up more in the future when network/wallet are stable and we can get bounty and marketing up and running.

If you get that error, raise the value of 42 up to a maximum of 100 - this is the value for the security level or checkpoints. If the error still persists at 100, consider doing smaller spends.

Is the Discord even more active then the telegram channel? I might pop in to check. At least in discord you can find the things you are looking for because it's more organized.
