The older and more established an exchange is, and the better its reputation, the more reliable it is. Txbit and Vinex are new exchanges, so they are relatively less reliable than most established exchanges.

I recommend only keeping funds on exchanges for the duration of trading, and withdraw it after. And only put as much funds on exchanges as you are willing to safely risk after considering for yourself how reliable the exchange is.

Veil has been added to the crypto market overview site Coinpaprika.

The research platform conveniently offers statistics and information beyond common market capitalization data, such as return rates, community news, and all-time high.

We should look what's going on with exchanges concerning their legal status, whether they are registered and publicly known. Otherwise there is enormous risk using unknown exchanges. Although everybody has to decide that for themselves.

How much coin need for POS? How long they need maturity?

Hi Technick. After minting Basecoin/CT/RingCT Veil into Zerocoin Veil, it needs a total of 200 confirmations before it actively stakes. It also needs to reach "Zerocoin maturity", which means one additional mint of the same denomination size has occurred after it was minted.

Hey Yey09. Smiley Right now in some cases CT balances may not be mintable or spendable. We recommend using basecoin addresses for receiving or reminting your coins until we can fix the bug in a future release. Sorry about this.

A fix is already lined up for the next release, last I heard. You can try the following commands in console and try minting again afterwards:

rescanringctwallet
rescanblockchain

Another thing you can try is to send your CT amount to basecoin by using the console command sendstealthtobasecoin amount bv1xxxxx. Please note that this transaction will incur a small fee so please account for that when deciding on an amount (i.e. send 209.9 CT, leaving 0.1 CT for fees); adjust the amount as needed. You can then mint from basecoin with no worries.

If none of the above work, you may need to wait for the next release before you can move those funds. If there are any more solutions that you can try for this I will be sure to inform you. Again, we've very sorry for this.

Veil has been added to the crypto market overview site CoinGecko.

CoinGecko takes both a quantitative and qualitative approach in its coin evaluations, tracking traditional crypto market metrics as well as community growth, developer activity, and public interest.

Sure! You can create a basecoin address in your Veil wallet by going to Settings icon> Advanced Options> Console tab and entering: getnewbasecoinaddress

Copy paste this address for withdrawing Veil from the exchange and you will send the funds back to your wallet!

Hey gutnnrg. Smiley Your blockchain may have been corrupted and you will need to resync the wallet. To make this process faster, you're free to use one of the snapshots provided by the support team.

The instructions for using a snapshot can be found here: https://veil.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000478708-how-to-use-a-snapshot

Hey there. Smiley You can only spend zerocoin to a stealth address using the GUI. For zerocoin to basecoin address or basecoin to basecoin address transactions, you will need to use the console.

To spend zerocoin to a basecoin address:
spendzerocoin <amount> false true 42 <basecoin address> <denomination to use (optional)>

To send basecoin to a basecoin address (there is a small fee for this transaction):
sendtoaddress <basecoin address> <amount>

You can refer to this support article for a full list of console commands for sending Veil along with some examples:
