in the roadmap you that at the beginning of the year that you are working on is implementing a dandelion with the aim to prevent the source node traceback, did this already works?

Hey, is it possible to Nicehash it? or only MRR maybe?
NH don't have X16RT algo yet...

right now its only on MRR

thanks, I'd send you some merit if I have some left.

Maybe I'm too late for the mining party, maybe not.
looking forward for the release of the bounty campaign as well.

2 problems:
1.the GUI wallet is syncronizing very slowly, at 500 blocks/min rate. You must add a lite wallet with remote node I don't use wallets that fills my SSD with block and the waiting time for syncro is unacceptable.
2.what's with this old post?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=661563.0

the old post is an unrelated project with a similar name, lite wallet will be available in the future, you will also be able to prune your own node.

Pretty much perfect. Console is found in 'Advanced Options' within Settings. It's the second tab at the top.

Thanks for helping others out DarkInventory777 and Marvell2. We appreciate it.

Hey topteam, welcome. Veil doesn't intend to go on any exchanges until the wallet issues are ironed out. I hope you'll stick it out with us until then. Smiley

The newest wallet 1.0.0.6 for windows is working great for me. No crashes and I even got a stake overnight. If you are not on 1.0.0.6 update. I also know they are constantly working on updates to the wallet and wouldn't be surprised if a newer one comes out today or tomorrow as well. We've got a good team here.

people having massive problems with staking.
errors everywhere in the debug log.

not a single word from devs about these issues.
Where are they at this critical time of the coin? How on earth do you justify a 50% premine and be mostly absent?

Can they take a look at the problems people are having on discord?

Right now its filled with people having problems, and 1-2 community managers doing their best helping with the limited knowledge they have.

But they probably don't care because they have the staking working for themselves and are happy cuz they get all the block rewards. (50% premine wasnt enough I guess)
PoS is getting like 75% of all rewards (the very few that have it working). PoW Miners are getting screwed.

OK lets not spazz out too hard now on this new fun project. . Im from "the competition" lol .. XVG, but who cares I love new projects . .

for starters I downloaded the 1.0.0.6 new version, but it still wouldnt sync . .

delete everything in appdata\roaming\veil EXCEPT Wallet and Zerocoin, then started 1.0.0.6

opened settings>options>preferences>network and enabled USE PNP to map ports.

close wallet, restart.

syncing now will advise on staking situation

mining all my nvidia @ veil.suprnova

Peace!

CryptoDredge and T-Rex NVIDIA mining software now support x16rt algorithm! Both are highly optimized miners, and with the WildRig AMD miner, everyone can now optimally earn mining rewards while supporting the Veil network.

CryptoDredge miner: https://github.com/technobyl/CryptoDredge/releases
T-Rex miner: https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases/

Visit our website for all x16rt mining software links.

Hey CinErik. Do you have the latest version of the wallet installed? https://github.com/Veil-Project/veil/releases/

If you do and you are still have syncing issues, please do the following in the wallet:
Settings icon > Preferences > on the bottom left click "Open Configuration File" > type in: resync=1 > Restart your wallet

Please don't forget to remove resync=1 from your configuration file after your wallet has successfully synced. If you don't, your wallet will force resync every time you open your wallet.

I hope this helps!

Hey giagge, I'm sorry to hear that. Winning a stake is chance-based. The less Veil that you have, and the more Veil there is staking in the network, the harder it will be for you to win a staking reward. However, each winning stake will grant you 50 Veil, so in my opinion it's always worth trying for it. Smiley I wish you good luck on your first staking reward!
