And here no one blames anyone. But POS does not solve one of the missions of cryptocurrency - decentralization.

I would agree with your statement, but not completely. The staking rewards needs to be reduced for Veil. Too many coins are being mined every month, and on top of the bounty rewards this influx of fresh coins is pulling the exchange rate down. I would say that somewhere around 4% or 5% of the total supply per year is a fair enough reward for PoS mining.

Got into Veil just today, aimed my mining rig to it. The project looks decent and I can't say much bad about the team either. Definitely keeping eyes open on this project. I haven't found any information about the staking itself thought. How much Veil do I need to get a daily stake reward?

Yes, you do.
But it's much better for you to use a raspberryPi for staking if you can to minimize the electricity cost. VPS is also a good thing and you can use AWS, etc.

Just let your wallet opened for 24/7 and you will get your emission.

Hey Neurolicious, thank you for the interest. Smiley The average currently is around 16,000 veil for an average of a stake per day.

No one has received bounty rewards for May just yet, but payments will start as soon as wallet issues are resolved. Please stay tuned in the BountyCloud group for distribution updates.

Already in bounty telegram group, they mentioned there is some issue with the payment, very soon they are going o release the bounty once they recover the wallet issue. In the last message, they mentioned only within 2 days they will start distributing the bounties.

Well.. this is a very basic question. If you want more rewards, then you need to let the wallet online for more time. If your wallet is staking only 12-hours a day, then you will get half the rewards when compared to another guy, who stakes 24-hours a day. I guess this rule is same with almost all the PoW coins. I have tried my luck with PoW mining earlier also, with different coins.

You cannot say this per se. The biggest problem with POS is often times the initial distribution. If the initial distribution is unknown, there is massive risk for centralized control. Or big money can get a majority stake over time, but that is to some degree the same with Bitcoin, with the difference being that maintaining a majority stake in Bitcoin is expensive.

Of course, most of the people will not able to love the wallet for 24 hours because it will surely damage the laptop and it our problem, so the team should also come up mobile staking wallets because we can easily stake through the mobile wallet for 24 hrs a day.

Mobile staking wallets? There is no lite wallet or Android version available for Veil, so you may need to download the full wallet (10 to 15 GB). So I don't think that mobile staking is possible (at this point of time). But what makes mobile staking different from laptop staking? It can damage the smartphone, right? Or does it take less RAM usage?

I have the same, just ignore that message. I think that is due new version (1.0.3.0) of Veil  wallet that was build in hurry due to  the necessity to avoid  some flaws found in zerocoin protocol.

Hi;

Same here. We all receive the same error message, which is not an obstacle to the functions of the wallet. And as reported, the vulnerability in the "zero coin" protocol has been found and has already been fixed. If there will still be zero coins in the new wallet, that error message will probably be eliminated.

Kind regards

Everyone on wallet v1.0.3.0 will see that message because of changes to the consensus rules. There is nothing to worry about. Smiley The message should disappear after some time.
