Block reward dropped about 20% to 577 for next 5.7 days. It might drop even lower after that.
It's now pretty expensive to mine HVC at current price. Good time to buy it cheap I think.

yup the future is looking good, glad i kept my ipo stake and bought more rather than dumping.

What was the IPO price? People really panicked out when the gpu rumors started.

173.84775614 / 5,000,000 = 0.00003477 BTC per HVC.

I am also very optimistic with Heavycoin ..

Wholly off-topic, but: click on 'Trust:' before the score.  The trust feedback page shows who left trust, their stated reason, etc.

Whoever is selling try to remove sell orders on mint and let's try to push price a little bit up.

Another great coin, Another wallpaper. Heavycoin now has it's own wall of text wallpaper.
I think that would look better if the text were justified and manually tweaked so that each line is a full line Smiley
Just to show what I meant by that (in part):

Click for larger.  Note how all lines line up at the left and right edge - justified text is great for things like these.  I also opted to mask out per-word.  While this doesn't give clean outlines*, the logo should still be recognizable (cheating with a very faint hint of the clean logo helps).  When masking out per-word you also get to have some judgment in which words to mask out, and which to keep in to emphasize the message (didn't spend too long on this process).
* for that you'd have to vary the inter-word and inter-character spacing (or scale - yuck), which would be the next step after getting to this point as everything up to this point allows you to identify which words should be in which segment.

To the people above me: Sorry for the semi- off-topic, and I have no idea about settings and hash rates on a 280x Cheesy

280x settings were posted a number of times back throughout the thread. I don't have time to look em up but if you search the thread for 280x you can probably find em.  Wink

Realistically, what price do you guys think this coin could possibly reach a year from now?

Your looking at a 1 BTC sell order at 3k satoshi.

No reason HVC couldn't match or exceed Litecoin in my opinion. Your looking at slightly more supply in the end and many new features compared to Litecoin. The price will reflect the usefulness. If people actually start using the coin rather than mine/sell/trading it then it will go up a lot.

if you are realistic i think the price will get around 0.2-1 dollar in a month or few months but in the world of crypto-currencies you never know.. there could happen a boom and that the price skyrocket to over 1 dollar

I'd rather be interested in the Bitcoin price than the dollar price. The dollar has been going down a lot against the euro for the last year or so:
