Good point. This is important to understand tho: some people think about CAT as an automatic "trader" like you can setup once and let it run for days and then just grab/collect your earnings after one or 2 weeks! I dont think it is like that, am i wrong? You need to study the markets, to follow them daily (and maybe intraday for some coins) and then adjust your settings following "quite what you would trading manually".
So CAT is not your golden egg's chicken but it is something you can use to eat, answer your phone, read your emails, get a shower....WHILE with a corner of your eyes you watch it "trade" for you (saving your eyes from continuosly lurking at graphs and markets waiting the exact moment to PUSH).
Am i wrong?
yes, CAT is NOT

set it and forget it

the main problem is, after a crash or frozen CAT (or often java or GUI) it is a big pain (time consuming) to restart/reconfigure all and a loss too if you have not the time to do it now, because the markets have changed so much in the meantime.
but for short time if it is running it is ok Smiley

I think that there's no bot on the market that allows you to gain without do nothing on configuration side.
CAT offers you a lot of parameters and you're free to create from simple to complex strategies.

You can also run more than 1 strategy over the same market, for example :
- A Strategy for current market situation
- A Strategy for a market drop
- A Strategy for a market increase

Only 1 of these 3 strategies will works but when market condition changes, the other algorithm will start working.

This is an advanced use of CAT.

PS : I Know person who gained with CAT without understand how it works  Grin Grin but only let it run in default mode.

hi,

I know that all depends on my knowledge in the markets and my skills on how to use this software, but in average, how much percent per day(or in a month) you are earning with this software?

Just need to have an idea of profits before I can purchase it.

Thanks.

I tried so many bots over the years and thought yours was going to be trash like the others

1 week and so far I'm loving it. Simple and it's making me money

Of course you need to google a couple of things to get the best out of it, but after all learning is a never ending process

not possible to load orders because window is bigger than monitor and not resizeable...

OK button outside monitor!

I Tried to fix your problem, BUT

- Window Is already resizable.
- The OK Button (Restore Order) is outside the scrollbar

On My Windows 7 everything works fine, what Linux distro are you using??

As you can see the RED box have already a scrollbar so you can restore 100 orders without problems.
The Restore Order Button is OUTSIDE (the BLUE Panel) and his position doesn't depends by how many orders are you try to restore.

with the latest version of CAT

Volume and Volume BTC are the same...

Already fixed, i will release CAT 4.0 Soon (I'm working with cryptopia Dev).

That value doesn't give problem on Ping-Pong algorithm, it's only a visualization problem.

Hello Sampey,

I have 2 questions, when you say :

Quote
- In "low fluctuation" markets,  markets with high and similar number of trades in last 24 hours, it's easy to have a lot of successful Ping-Pongs.
Example of "High And Equilibrate in terms of 24H Trades" : 500/550 - 300/400 - 400/600 .....

--> Is there a way to ask ping creation to stop if buy trades decrease and are lower than sell trades ? And if yes, could it be a good idea to do that ? Smiley

I don't have problem for the moment to find when create new ping/pong orders but the problem for me is the best way to configure the BOT to stop new ping creations at the best moment

And second question :
Quote
- % Min Gain have his meaning for each market.
Ex :
LTC/BTC
Best Sell : 0,025
Best Buy : 0,0249
Difference is : 0,0001
% Difference is : 0,4%

DOGE/BTC
Best Sell : 0,00000111
Best Buy : 0,00000110
Difference is : 0,00000001
% Difference is : 0,9%

So, choosing 1% for LTC/BTC could be a good idea, choosing 1% For DOGE/BTC could be a bad idea.

Why ? Sorry but I don't understand  Undecided If difference is still 0.6% it's still a profit isn't it ?

Thank you in advance for your help Smiley

Actually there's no way.
BUT there's a reason why i haven't add such options : many exchanges gives you only the last 100 trades, so this is not a data you can always consider, it depends by the exchange.

In my example, difference is 0,4% and 0,9% the focus was on DOGE/BTC a market with 1 sat satoshi difference between buy/sell.

When you have ALWAYS 1 sat satoshi difference you must consider that the % SPREAD is static.
In that case (DOGE) spread was always 0.9% so have a gain of 1% was very difficulty. Gain must be under <= 0.9%

Thank you for your answers Smiley

Regarding the first one, do you know if Poloniex or Yobit gives only the last 100 trades ?

As a beginner in C.A.T and trading, I was wondering if I could find some tutorials or examples with C.A.T to practise more and understand as much as possible how to trade in the best conditions ?

Thanks you

It seems 200 https://poloniex.com/support/api/

About the tutorial, no, actually no tutorial, it's too much complex to create a tutorial that could cover all the possible market situation.
The best practise is to understand how to configure in dynamic way all the CAT parameters.

Phew,

Just finished reading all of the posts since January and it's convinced me to pull some of my funds from the forex account and give this a try.

Mind if a shoot you an email in a day or two so I can get my hands on a copy? First post, very unlikely that I can PM.
