Hey Sampey,  version 4.1 is not letting me log into Poloniex but all the other exchanges I can login with no problems.  Any ideas how to fix?

Actually, I didn't had any problems logging into Poloniex with 4.1.... it works just fine.

FYI, Bitfinex is up and running but they deleted all API keys and we must get new ones

The Poloniex problem occurs only on some API.

Every API request have an attribute called NONCE.
The NONCE is a progressive number, and every API CALL must have a NONCE higher than the previous one.

usually this is accomplished by using nonce equals to the current time expressed as milliseconds (and you'll be sure that your nonce will be always higher than the previous).

For some reason i don't know, on Poloniex sometimes this nonce got error and you receive a message like "ERRORE NONCE, NONCE MUST BE GREATER THAN X".
If you never get that error, you won't get the "bug", otherwise there was a problem on my parsing routine that extract the X Value from the error message and fix the NONCE to the value X+1

i got a similar issue on another project. It was related to the server time: there are some time zones that dont synch with GMT/UTC during legal/solar time. Hence some users may experience a failed time synchronization (compared to the server time, since NONCE is related to the current UNIX TIME on server side).

I have to say it: 4.1 is running very smooth. After some tricks and adjustments i am finally running it 24/7 without issues (unlikely earlier versions with a lot of orders to restore, fails to save/load orders and markets etc).
Actually i'm earning way more with CAT than my 5xAntminer S7 (which after the halving became pretty useless)

I have a question. first of all I love the bot and it really do what is told to do and gives you a lot of options to customize it to your need. first I set it up to have a ping buy with default profit (0.6) with half of my wallet and ping sell with the other half. it was working well for a while then it kind of stopped trading when the market trended down. then I discovered the sell all when price drops below certain percentage option which is like a stop loss. the fact that the opposite trade which is sell ping is working on the opposite direction is good but now when the market goes back up it will start doing buy ping pongs again but now the sell pings will stop as it will never hit the sell pong (buy). so guys what do you have in your settings to solve this issue which is simply market moving far from your pong price.

Personally i dont use half of my wallet on ping and half on pong: if the market goes far away (up or down) you would be cut off. I subdivide my wallet in little steps (both buy and sell) so in case the market goes too up or too down i still have money to invest. My motto: keep calm and ping pong: soon or later the market will go back to your range and you will be surprised to see your old pings/pongs alive again...while you wait have fun with the other ping/pongs you created on different ranges.
Talking about btc/usd pair tho...doing this with some alts is EXTREMELY dangerous...

Thaks Hamuki for your reply. In fact I am interseted in setting the bot to do a kind of automatic trading that is kind of follow trends and make use of price swings. by default, in a trending up market there is no issue as the bot will hit the pong and create another ping buy and so on but when the market trends down I will have to stop the ping by enabling sell all at certain precentage. but again how will the bot buy again ? does anybody here have an idea on what should be done when the market trends ? please dont tell me to switch off the bot it might be helpfull as well to post some success stories and recomended settings and tweeks you professional traders have on your bot.
