I just spotted on www.howtobuygrin.com that Kucoin is listing Grin today

https://twitter.com/kucoincom:
"Trading pairs include GRIN/BTC, GRIN/ETH and GRIN/USDT. Buying starts Jan 24, 2019, 17:30 (UTC+8), selling starts Jan 24, 2019, 18:00 (UTC+8) and withdrawal opens Jan 26, 2019, 18:00 (UTC+8)."

First big exchange to quote Grin after just a week after his birth and exit: OKEX
I believe that in 2-3 months we will find it on every Top exchange; But pay attention to the price: if you want to undermine it's fine, but if you want to buy, I recommend waiting a few more months!

https://www.reddit.com/r/grincoin/comments/aj1evm/so_it_beginsokex_the_first_big_exchange_to_list/

A few hours after the first big exchange that has quoted Grin, others start to follow.
Kucoin also announced the listing of Grin, with the Btc, Eth and Usdt couples

Cool one! I'we started to mine it. But how/where to mine 31 on windows?

I also want to know but nobody answers. Cant find a proper solution anywhere!?  Huh

No, because there's no way to do that for now unless you're an ASIC developer.
The Cuckatoo31 (C31) is an ASIC-friendly algorithm but I don't think there are any ASICs at the moment.

Maybe in theory people would be able to use GPUs to mine C31 until ASICs appear, I don't know but the difficulty of C31 could be that high that even if fewer GPUs mine it compared to C29 it's not as profitable... I repeat MAYBE... I don't know.
What I know is that C31's hashrate is 0 at the moment.

lol wat???

https://www.grinmint.com/pages/network-charts.html

Tons of people mining c31 already - mostly nvidia on linux.

I just started mining Grin in grinmint.com (Win10, AMD). I've created account in BitForex, as this seemed like the most straight-forward way to get a wallet address where I can send the mined coins (when confirmed etc).
Can somebody who has already went through that explain the process - once there are mined coins in GrinMint, how to get them in BitForex with min.risk?

Another question - I saw some topics for Bminer being the fastest miner. I have AMD cards, so it doesn't work with them, right?

RX 580, 8GB gives me ~ 1,5 gps - is that OK, good or bad?

It was a pretty efficient spot to be w/ GGM.  Grin Pro (basically new vers of GGM) gives a massive bump to 2 gps w/ same settings.

I came late. What's bob on about?

I haven't had a drink in a few days.

Situation: Rectified. I'm OK now.

I still hate f2pool.

Fuck f2pool.
It's a pain in the ass, now if the other poops didn't reject shares like a cam streamer rejects fedora wearing neckbeards there might be some competition.

No payout script is pure shit.

Where can one find this Grin Pro miner, is it a paid version?

I found the GGM here https://github.com/mozkomor/GrinGoldMiner/releases

No it's not paid, it's with a fee as usual. https://grinpro.io/

Running it on my Vega64, 3.1-3.2 G/s, best speed so far on AMD cards.

That said, for NVDIA chipsets, GMiner 1.22 is out as of yesterday, giving similar speeds with the latest version of bminer, 1080ti=6.2 G/s
Also it does not require Cuda 9.2 or higher Wink

Yeah Grin definitely prefers Nvidia cards, I believe it's something with the route the card takes to communicate, Nvidia cards are able to process directly and the AMD has to talk to the CPU first or something along those lines.

Do you have links ...

To both the miner and instructions on mining? Would be appreciated.

Detailed instructions to mine you can find on the pool's side.

Sparkpool & Grin mint do the job for me ATM.
Use a valid email to which you have access to of course.

Is there an ANN thread in bitcointalk.org or the official grin forum?

because I feel uneasy of trusting them without any user comments.

Could be a virus chest.

bminer 1080ti 7.0-7.4 G/s   925mV ~ 180w.

If regulated through Pl. (75%) then the voltage per core is above 1000mV, then the video card does not work well. Lower consumption is higher hashrate, does not sound likely, but it is a fact! Deliver a fixed voltage of 925 mV and add overclock on the core, which would be about the same value as with 75% pl.

I compared the bminer and gminer on a grinmint bminer gives a larger hash, but a rather high percentage of rejects. The gminer gives a slightly smaller hash rate, but this is offset by the lack of rejects. It should be borne in mind that the gminer loads the processor more than the bminer. The next test that I’ll run is bminer on f2pool (bminer has fewer rejects on this bullet) and grinmint on gminer. 2 identical rig. I like both the miner and the competition between them.
