I checked the T20 match result between the Pakistan A women's team vs Nepal women's team. Pakistan A women's team players lost 10 wickets and set a target of just 88 runs. Opener Shawaal Zulfiqar scored the highest 28 runs for Pakistan. He collected only 28 runs off 36 balls. However, the interesting thing is that the Nepal team could not win the match even after batting for only 88 runs. They were defeated by 9 runs.

In women's cricket, the performances of every team except Australia and England have been erratic. I thought India's women's team was very strong. But we don't see consistently good performances from the India women's team either. Women's cricket is not popular because most of the teams are weak.

I was also surprised after reading scorecard of both teams but now after checking details understand this is ACC Emerging Cup, so mostly women's are new and having no good experience which is the main reason for this low score match with Pakistan not have good structure for the women's which is a main reason for this low quality but still good fight from them and win against Nepal is good start for them.
 
In other match India won by nine wickets against Hong Kong as they bowled out them on score of 34 and then chase this without any trouble in 5.2 overs with the lost of one wicket we need more events like this in Asian region because now this is good for the improvement of quality and performance many countries are trying to adopt this format which is good for the game.

I actually forgot when was the last time I saw Kenya play in international cricket. The last time I can remember watching Kenya was probably towards 2007 when they were playing against Bangladesh. After that, I don't remember watching Kenya play in international cricket. Finally, it is actually good to see them performing well and making some noise. I hope they will be able to perform better again and maybe find themselves in the top 10.

In cricket, nothing can be more tragic than what happened to Kenya. They surprised everyone by reaching the semi-finals of the 2003 World Cup. And before that they had managed upsets against big teams such as India and West Indies. They were expecting a big rise in fund allocation and support from the ICC after their performance in 2003. But this was when Srinivasan-Pawar criminal mafia took over world cricket. For the next 3-4 years, Kenya hardly played any matches against the full members and their fund allocation was almost reduced to zero. In the end, the main players retired and they could not be replaced by the younger ones. Within a few years, the team simply disappeared.

This is actually very understandable why that happened. The senior players of the team had a love for the game. That’s why they did not leave. But eventually, they had to retire. And the new players trying to take cricket as a profession did not have enough financial or mental motivation to do so. That’s why young people were not interested in playing cricket for Kenya at all. The authority in cricket was stupid back then. This team should have got a good amount of money from the ICC. But instead, the ICC basically forgot about them. If they were supported properly, I think there could have been one of the seven or eight teams in the ICC rankings right now.

3rd Match Group B of ACC WOMEN EMERGING TEAMS ASIA CAF. Pakistan Women A vs Nepal Women. To be honest I am not that familiar with these matches. So I have to wait for some time to bet on these matches. And to gain some understanding of the women's team game. In this match, Pakistan Women's team batted first, collecting 87 for the loss of all wickets in 19.2 overs. Nepal women failed to score 88 runs in the second innings. I have rarely seen such a low scoring match. So it is risky for me to bet on these matches without having full understanding

It is not about the teams that are weak. It is all about the importance given to the women's team. Earlier we used to see the average scores to be around 250 runs on ODI. With the existence of IPL the scoring pattern itself changed and the ODI average got increased and now 300+ runs can be seen quite often with the matches. This is the transition, and similar transition in women's cricket takes time. Countries that have got good domestic setup are at their best position. This will change over time, as the women's cricket is at its very beginning stages of progress in most of the countries.

Players such as Steve Tikolo, Maurice Odumbe and Thomas Odoyo were capable of competing with any of the top full member nations. One of the reasons why Kenya was not awarded the test status as due to opposition from the Asian boards. They thought that awarding an African nation test status would dilute their hold on the ICC. Anyway, now Kenya is just an entry in the record books. Will be remembered as a lost opportunity for cricket to expand in to the African continent.

Something interesting took place during the match between Chepauk Super Gillies and Salem Spartans. 18 runs scored from a ball, that too final ball of the innings. Bowler named Tanwar delivered the final ball and the batsman was bowled out. It was a no ball. Following ball was a no ball, it was a six. The next ball was once again no ball and they took 2 runs. Kenya and the players you mentioned has pulled some upset wins from 1998 to 2003 and they were coached by Sandeep Patil who build the team who could spring these surprises but from where you heard that the Asian boards opposed on getting Kenya a Test status because India and other Asian teams used to visit them while New Zealand reject to play in Kenya even during the world cup in 2003 due to security reasons.

Match fixing controversies from major Kenyan players and their internal conflict with the board is the reason their entire structure was destroyed and you cannot blame other boards for their demise.

It was really unexpected 4 no balls delivery consecutively and added 18 runs. Chepauk Super Gillies added 26 runs in the 20th over which was another reason for the opposition's defeat. However, Salem Spartans lost by a huge margin of 52 runs. In T20 cricket when the target is in control it is a bit easier to win but chasing 217 runs is definitely tough. Moreover, one of the great reasons for defeat Salem Spartans in this match is that they could not play the power play effectively. They lost 2 wickets for 38 runs in first six overs. that was the point where they lose the match.

But just because nobody wanted the African continent to be improved in cricket and also just because cricket was controlled by the mafia, Kenya did not get the test status. Instead, it was given to Bangladesh. And we all know Bangladesh has actually not improved in tests. At least liked as well as they should have. If it was Kenya, I believe the improvement was going to be better. I am not feeling that Bangladesh has not improved in anything. Bangladesh has done very well in the ODI format. He used to visit the stands at Sharjah cricket stadium, when the matches were in progress and no one would say anything. After a lot of outcry, 2-3 Indian players were handed down suspensions (Jadeja, Azharuddin.etc) for their role in match fixing. But nothing happened to them. After a few years these bans were overturned and the fixers got plum posts within the state cricket boards. It was the small fish like Cronje and Boje who got punished. Cronje even lost his life in a very suspicious accident. A few years later, Bob Woolmer also died under mysterious circumstances.

Three more days left, Bangladesh will probably end the innings by the second session of third day. In the first innings Afghanistan scored just 146 runs. The middle order alone performed well, and similar pattern of play can be expected in the second innings. Bangladesh is really strong, particularly the open order is giving good support in scoring. Even in the first innings the score came from the top order and tail order contribution is not even 5% of the score. If Bangladesh end its innings in the first session, the match will end by tomorrow.

At that time, some really good players got into this match-fixing problem. The money probably got to them. Both of the names you mentioned, Ajay Jadeja, and Azharuddin, both of them were very important for India. Ajay Jadeja did try to make a comeback. But he was unable to actually do anything meaningful after his ban.

No one can do anything against these mafias because they have strong influence and power around the globe which works for them and with this all they can bring changes in anywhere specially in Asian region because here we have not strong judicial system and mostly political parties are also involved in this dirty game as well which is another story but as we have too much involvement in this game few decades back now all shifted due to new franchise system which is much better and safer for these mafias.

Recently we have still many rumors about few things, but now it's all mostly for the media intention because balance of power is completely balances and things are happening through top level which is giving all parties their share, so now we have no voices about this all.

Kenya was like a stepping stone to the African continent for cricket. In Zimbabwe and South Africa, even now the game is being dominated by the whites and not by the blacks. Kenya was different, because most of their players were Black African. With a little bit of support from the ICC, the game could have expanded more and they would have become a powerhouse in cricket. But then the ICC had other ideas. They diverted funds to countries such as the USA and UAE, and the excuse was that Kenya was not a major economy.
