I thought the Australian women's team would lose by a big margin. Because the team was losing wickets very quickly. But Ellyse Perry batted well. He was able to play an excellent innings of 51 runs in just 27 balls. However, Australia lost the match by just 3 runs. With Ellyse Perry, if one more batsman would have been able to bat responsibly, Australia might have been able to win the match. Australian women's team lost the first two matches of the series.

Even Australian men's and women's are dominating in this tour and have enough wins but in this match we have good fightback from English women's after scoring 186 runs their bowling done good job and takes few early wickets which helps them for keeping pressure on spirited Australians which fights till end and Ellyse Perry try her best to win this match but sadly not able to do this again now series is level with the score of 1 - 1, and we have final at the Lord's on 8th July which will decide who is going to win the series.

However we were able to see the dominance of Australia Women team as the performance were exceptional whether it is to chase or to defend. I honestly did not think that England women will have so much problem trying to win this match. The target was really good. The problem is Australia lost wickets at regular intervals. England has started well, but they failed to do anything once the top order got out. Australia was at least consistent. But Mooney, the opener needed to have a better strike rate.

There is a good chance that some of these players will get an opportunity. Pakistan will also be participating in the Games, and I am sure that the organizers will try their best to get an India vs Pakistan match. Anyway, it is good to know that the BCCI is moving towards separate squads for limited overs and test cricket. Complete separation has not been done yet, but I hope that it will occur in the future.

BTW, has anyone looked in to the squad announced by the BCCI for the 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup? Riyan Parag was selected and I don't know on what basis he was considered. WTF is going on with the team selection nowadays?

Since India have enough players, they can form a separate team if they want. India has T20 specialist players as well as Test specialist players, so if two teams can be formed separately then I think the team will be stronger. Players who are listed as auto-choices should be removed from the auto-choice list and teamed up with those who are performing well on the field. If India form a separate team for T20 then India will get one of the best team. BCCI should decide who is eligible to be included in the squad for Test format and T20 format. If the team is formed in this way, the team will already have a lot of balance.

I just read about this all and check I am feeling we have competitive squad with all boys deserve chance and few voices are coming for the Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rinku Singh here we have to understand if we have to choose only 15 players then we have no too many choices so if they drop these boys surely it's not their fault because they have all spots fixed on merit then surely someone has to dropped hopefully they will have their chance in near future because this is not end of cricket for them.

Now Social Media is also an issue as we have large communities for many players and as someone favorite is dropped then we have too many noises on social media which is also part of the game, and we need to look forward instead of going through with these negative things.

These two teams are playing 1st T20 match in Colombo. New Zealand won the toss and chose the field first. And Srilanka team is playing now. Sri Lanka has played 15 overs and made only 73 runs and already lost 6 wickets. If they hold tight and will play all overs so they can easily go above 100 runs. And if Srilanka team will make 120+ runs so it will be little bit difficult for the New Zealand team to chase. For sure the New Zealand team is a good team but we can't underestimate Srilanka team too.

Honestly, I expected a better performance from Sri Lanka women especially when they are playing on home ground. Sri Lanka had a little bit of solo performances from a few players. But that is not certainly enough for them to win the match.  Of course, the New Zealand women are better compared to the Sri Lanka women in cricket. They Sri Lankan players were playing like mediocre players, and it seemed that they were sure that New Zealand's women team was a tough competitor for them. Players like Udeshika Prabodhani can't complete against players like Suzie Bates, as we all know that she has shown superb performance in this match.

I'm quite sure that if Sri Lanka's women team plays like this in the next match then they will lose that match as well without any doubt. I don't think that they can actually win a tough team like New Zealand women team, and I'm pretty sure that they will lose all three of the matches if they continue playing like this match. Let's hope that they somehow manage to play better in coming matches because if they can't then things will be worse for the team.
