But I believe if it wasn't for the DLS and the rain wouldn't interrupt the game. Then Gujarat could have won the match. Because it was a little difficult for Chennai Super Kings to meet the target given by Gujarat. Chennai Super Kings won the match against Gujarat Titans but it was a hard fought victory.

These are silly excuses which only losers usually lose. CSK played well throughout the season and had a batting line-up capable of chasing down 200+ scores comfortably. GT lost despite luck being on their side majority of the time.

It depends on how you see it. I saw that GT bowlers and fielders struggling after the rain. I did see them trying to get to stop the run flow in the early overs. I would say CSK was lucky as the four by Jadeja was a luck shot. Mohit Sharma was amazing in controlling the run chase in the last over. I would agree that none of us expected Jadeja to hit a short and not get caught. If you look into his batting hardly he was able to get the ball over a fielder. In most matches that he batted he was getting caught while trying to hit a six. This is waht means being lucky and cunning for me.

I have watched the match actually and I will say that the rain interruption took away the momentum from GT. That was the turning point of the match for me. Of course, the match had a lot of twists and turns. Of course, what happened in the last over was certainly great to see for any fans in my opinion. But if I say that the match would have had the same result as this if there was no rain, I would be lying.

But anyway it was certainly a very good match and the tournament had a very good finishing I would say.

That's a problem, remember one time Harsha Bhogle was sacked from a commentary gig because he criticized Dhoni, which Dhoni & his cheerleader didn't like. There were a couple of other reasons too but this was one of the major reasons he got axed.

It must be admitted that Dhoni is a popular player in the world of cricket. Among all the talented players, Dhani is one of the players. Which was not easy at all. But I cannot shake the feeling that they actually got profited by the DLS method.

Agreed, his fast move behind the stumps can't be done by any of the wicketkeeper. Even in the final against Gujarat Titans he's the game changer taking the wicket of Shubman Gill in no time. It was when he started to take off. In some way his contribution to the team can be seen. I prefer him to announce retirement from IPL, because he announced his exit in all formats of cricket at the right time. With IPL making an announcement along with the win will give him more proud.

His performance doesn't lack, but through some means one can surely feel the age making difference within himself.
