I am personally happy that Pakistan have reached the semi-finals, as they are aiming to achieve their expectations of going to the semi-finals. But I was very surprised by South Africa's loss to the Netherlands. The Netherlands really deserves praise.

It was not an easy win for Pakistan to beat Bangladesh. Though Bangladesh isn't a balanced team but Pakistan didn't play so well in this match also. I was totally disappointed about the decision of tv umpire of this match. There was a lot of controversy about the decisions of umpire. I think it was unfair decision for Bangladesh without proper judgement after shakib's review.

Yes, I agree that Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed with a wrong decision.  However, I don't know if Bangladesh had a chance to win this match.  But I think if a team player is sent off for a wrong decision then the attitude of the team towards the game is not good and that's what happened with him.

That's the point I'm talking about. The momentum was changed by the wrong decision from tv umpire though Shakib took review. We know Shakib is a key player of Bangladesh and he is one of the best number 1 t20 all rounder. A cameo of 30-40 runs from Shakib could change the game result.

Pakistan getting a spot in the smefinals was unexpected! South Africa getting defeated by Netherlands was the biggest upset in this T20 world cup. Bangladesh had an opportunity today but were to comfortable to fight for the semifinal berth. Too many thing to digest in a single day.

But, what is with this lie that India had to beat Zimbabwe to qualify for the semifinals? What is with the controversy that South Africa lost the match deliberately in order to profit ICC and CA? This world cup has been the biggest upsetter & controversial than those happend in the past. To all those who still think this torunament is fixed, please go and get your brain checked.

India qualified for semifinals as soon as South Africa lost. ICC or the CA will still profit regardless of India getting into the finals or Pakistan.

The game in the T20 format is not always the same. A player can burn out at any time. Also, when a player gets a second life, his run speed increases a lot. Moreover, there are many examples where a player who gets a second chance is able to turn the outcome of the entire match. Something like that could have happened to Shakib too. However, they have not had any remarkable performances in T20s in recent times where they have done well. So the decision given by the third umpires against him did not have any effect.
